From Wikipedia: Sable Falls is a waterfall located on Sable Creek in the easternmost portion of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Alger County, Michigan. The main access road to the falls is H-58 west of Grand Marais, Michigan. The falls tumbles 75 feet over Munising and Jacobsville sandstone formations.[1] The waterfall is approximately one-half mile from Lake Superior. Stairs allow for relatively easy access to the falls. As for the steps, they were not hard at all, but if steps are more difficult for you it may be a bit more challenging. But there are many benches down the flights and it allows for some rest, it was very worth it. Also continue down the trail if you want to kill some short time and see where Sable Creek meets Lake Superior, and you can then see Sable beach and the Grand Sable Dunes to the west.
