I bought an unlimited ride wristband pre-sale. Big mistake. When you purchase they send you an email stating to redeem your wristband at any ticket booth or tent in the midway. I waited in a line for 30 minutes to getbto the ticket booth to have then tell me no they don't redeem at ticket booths. I showed her the email that says I can redeem at a ticket booth. She still says no I have to go to a white and blue striped trailer. I go to the trailer and the only entrance says private entrance go around to another window. I walk around the trailer and there is no other windows or entrance. I go back and knock on the private entrance. He helped us get a band and he told me they have devices at the booths but they have bad technology. I said if you know your technology is bad why are you sending people an email telling them to go to the wring place? He didn't have an answer. He also said they took down the window attached to their trailer because it was the last day.
This whole experience was horrible and preventable if competent people were involved. Next year just tell people to go to the white and blue trailer to redeem in your email. It's better than lying to everyone making them wait in a line that can't help them. Also if you know the private trailer entrance is where to redeem. Take down the sign that says don't knock on this door. Get you act together. You suck and I will never pre-order a...
Read moreI remember! And not why it is walk down memory lane or my love of antiques or the hopes of finding that 1 unique item I simply must have. But why I do not attend such events normally. And that it because of the outrageous prices. I get it. It's a business. Expenses. But I also acquire items. And I despise seeing people taken advantage of because they don't know any better. On a good note, free parking! It was $10 to get in until 1:00. $5 after. I went after 1. The only thing I bought was a $3 bottle of water. Don't get me started on that!! But the sun was shining and I love looking and hunting and my friend did find an amazing homemade hand sown vulture that you would have to see to believe and hear the story of why she bought it for her husband 'The Texas Vulture Man'. Would I go again? No. Because if I did find that item I felt I must have, impulse would take over, common sense flies away, item bought despite haggle, feeling I get an OK price. Until I get home. Regret then sets in. Ugh! Now every time I look at that item I remember and it loses value. Nope. I know how this...
Read moreI love this place! It is a good walk anytime. No worries about vehicles running over you. It has areas with threes, flowers, pond, and old buildings for the fair. All this allows for awesome views of mornings or sunset, rain, snow.
I gave 5 stars originally but I think I'm not the only lover. I have found people who walk their dogs, I found them very irresponsable pet owners! The dogs are not only free wothout a leash pooing everywhere some of them are agressive. I think they need to be concious about where their dogs do their business specially if they do it on the trails where humans walk. Is not only disgustig to see it but step on it. I bet they homes are as full of crap as they live the Great Geauga County Fair Grounds. Sometimes I take my child he likes to walk on the grass just for the feel but now I won't let him. I don't want him to get sick or pick dog poop on his shoes! I think, the least they can do is pick it up and throw it on the bushes, people need to STOP being rud, irresponsable pet owners, care more about their community and stay home with...
