The food here is wonderful and beautifully prepared and presented. The staff are friendly and courteous. It serves an American Tea, not an English one which is not, perhaps, made so clear on the menu as it could be. Don't let that stop you; merely allow it to adjust your expectations. They are doing a wonderful job of meeting modern American dietary restrictions but are not altering the language describing their offerings which I found to be problematic. For instance, when I hear the word “quiche” I expect to find an egg custard presented in a pastry crust since that is what a quiche is. Here, in order to accommodate people avoiding carbohydrates, the “crust” is served atop as an add on. That's quite brilliant and I admire meeting peoples' needs and desires. Only please, do not call it a quiche. When I hear the word “scone” I expect either a triangular pastry or a 2 ½ inch biscuit shape. These are very small, perhaps 1 ½ in in diameter. This presents a different “crust to innards” ratio than I would expect. Again, this is not about the execution which is wonderful and prize winning; it is about my expectations from the menu and website. There is also no choice of the type of scone; they make one kind each day. If you are adventurous, flexible, and have a broad palate, eat here now. Just do it. Everything we had was beautiful and excellent. They have a find hand in presentation of everything and please take the time to enjoy it with your eyes first. If reading the menu causes you to have ANY expectation, please call them first and find out what they mean by what they print. Then adjust your expectation accordingly and go there and have a wonderful afternoon. I hope they will have an opportunity to add pictures of some of their more flexibly named dishes to the website. If you are concerned at the prices, it is no more expensive than decent sushi and takes at least the same time and training to execute at this level. All in all a delightful afternoon was had by all.

Absolutely awestruck at the congenial owner, darling waitress, and how cozy it was. I took myself as a treat. The chicken orzo soup used real chicken and perfectly whet the appetite. The tea service with the masala chai could not be beat. The spearmint chocy scone with mint Devonshire humbled the baker in me, I never ever thought to put spearmint in a savoryish sweet treat, it blew my mind and served slightly warmed. I got a little reuben, chicken salad, Italian pinwheel, and cucumber tea sandies and everything was extraordinarily curated and seasoned. Lastly, there were 5 sweet treats made from scratch with each one being a unique bite that wasn't heavy but a delight. I want to make this a monthly trip, they have a 10 and under tea service that my daughter is going to swoon over. I got a tiara and sunflower broach from the gift shop and I could not believe how affordable everything was with tea, soup, and tier all included instead of being nickel and dimed at my last place. I cannot recommend this place any higher, if you need a moment to yourself or want to simply treat yourself and guest, go to Quintealias 💕

This is my second time visiting here. The first experience was great. This second time was under par for what I thought would be another great experience. I dined with a friend and her mother and we sat at a table that had stains, crumbs and even a hair on the tablecloth. They did apologize and moved us to another table. We noticed a considerable price change on the menu which didn’t match the on line menu. They should update that so the public can decide if they want to spend that kind of money for a lunch size serving that wasn’t even filling. We ordered the scones on the menu for desert thinking we would receive two since it was in print ‘scones’ but disappointed when they brought us a biscuit size one. Wasn’t even shaped as a traditional scone. I thought it outrageous paying $8.95 for a biscuit. Even though the staff was nice and friendly and the hostess was apologetic about the dirty table I am sorry to say that will be my last visit there.

I will never return to this establishment. Heavily overpriced for quantity and quality of food/experience. Deplorable customer service from the owner. The menu offers a majority of non vegetarian options, menu is written to guide you into these "pre-built" selections and when asked to substitute out the sausage quiche for a meatless option such as egg salad (a philo cup smaller than the size of a quarter dollar) or a cucumber openface sandwich(small enough to fit in the palm of an adult hand), the owner acted as if this was a huge deal and went as far as belittling the customer for this request. After the "haggling" was over the customer then asked if with this preselected dessert list had substitute options for the chocolate peanut butter brownie, the owner responded with "what's your issue with that"?" ... It is 2022 and considering peanut butter is a widely known ingredient for many individuals to be allergic to.. that aside, how does an owner yet again find it acceptable to make someone feel so alienated for dietary needs. Not offering much other than a salad to accommodate someone who doesn't eat pork or beef is ridiculous and if you are the type of business who says "well take your business elsewhere because you can't offer to comfortably accommodate, we here you loud and clear. We just wish you would have said it after we spent over 120 on portions that wouldn't fill a child's belly. It was shocking, unprofessional and unreasonable in this day and age to have this reaction from a small business owner. The owner made the dining experience so uncomfortable there was no option to discuss the culmination of awful interaction she provided to the person at our table requesting an adjustment to the unadapt menu. In hindsight, we should have just left, but we had driven over an hour to visit this tea room for this same individuals birthday (which may I add, the owner knew of the celebration and still treated her like she was an inconvenience). If the owner treats customers this way, we also question how the staff is treated. As we saw the owner bulldoze, micromanage and degrade the staff while we were there. I wouldn't be surprised to find out there is a high turnover rate. The waitress was very kind and we do hope she knows what...

We had a bridal shower for my daughter at Quintealias in April 2025 that so far exceeded our expectations and dreams it is difficult to put into words. It was ABSOLUTELY perfect from start to finish. From the very first call I had with Annette inquiring about the possibility to doing this, to the moment we said goodbye after the shower was absolutely perfect. We were treated so kindly and given an opportunity to shape the menu and experience as we dreamed. Any idea we had was fostered by Annette and her team, and they executed every detail beautifully. We went for a "tasting" to choose our menu items, and quickly realized that everything this place produces is of the highest quality and details are incredible. While Annette gave us a wide open world of choices to customize, we quickly realized that their creativity and execution of every single food item was amazing and we decided to trust their creations, making just a couple of very small requests. They clearly knew how to pull this off better than any idea we would have had, and it turned out so beautifully that we know that trusting Annette and her team to make it wonderful, was the perfect choice. She stayed in very close communication with me from start to finish and really showed how much she CARED about making this day as special as possible for my daughter. Her staff was also absolutely lovely on that day, and made the shower feel like a total "treat" for everyone who attended. I felt so pampered! And so did all of our guests! Our phones and text messages have been ringing all week from people telling us what a LOVELY time they had. We walked away from this experience in awe of how amazing it was and honestly, Annette feels like a new friend. She seemed to genuinely care about us as people and has a heart of pure gold. I can't wait to go back and will never forget this...
