My town's electrical network was just awful! The electricity was always going down, sometimes for hours! This became a safety issue for my mother, who needs to be on oxygen all the time. In the last power outage, she had to be taken to the hospital in Butler, to wait around 4 hours, until the power came back on! Sometimes power outages would be in the middle of the night, which is a terrifying thought given my mother's condition. And I'm sure there are others that rely on electricity for some sort of life support. After a town vote, we switched over to Osage Valley Electric. We have yet to have any issues with their service. It is such a relief to not live with that fear any longer! Thank you...

The only reason I give them one star is because I want to leave this review. This is the only electric company in America that can shut down on a sunny 60 degree day. Trying to work from home is a joke with this electric company. I’m sure if we checked the meter it would still be whirling away. If you are considering moving to Cass Co Mo please know you will live on dirt roads, have water that taste like they drained a swamp and intermittent electricity. Very friendly helpful staff. Local (Butler, MO) company that hires local people. Very efficiently managed & they proactively replace old poles, trim trees, & remove unused dead end lines, so that there are very few electrical outages during bad weather. Their employees live close by & are part of the local community, so on the rage occasion of an outage, they get out in all kinds of weather, often risking their lives, to get your power...
