I had my first tandem skydive last Saturday, and it exceeded my wildest expectations!! My jump partner, JP (the best), was a great instructor. He was professional, very communicative before and during the jump, fun and had a way of instilling trust, which made me forget I was essentially putting my life into the hands of a person I had just met. Not to mention, he executed our landing perfectly...we deserved an award or some applause at the very least.

It's a family ran business, and you can tell they take pride in providing new and experienced jumpers a safe experience by using top of the line equipment. The whole team was fun, friendly, professional, and just a great group of fun loving people!

The plane was fast and in excellent condition.

The drop zone was amazing! They have a large, grassy clearing that you land in right next to the check-in area, so you don't have to walk far or be carted back from some far off landing area. There are even a couple of umbrella covered picnic tables that your friends or family can sit and watch your landing. There's even a little jungle gym for the kids.

Overall, my entire experience was exceptional! If you're wanting a professional and safe skydiving experience, then look no further. Skydive KC is the best in the Kansas City area, and I will definitely be back!!

First time getting to skydive.. I wish I had done it sooner, because I want more! Skydive KC made it such an INCREDIBLE experience that if you have even the smallest wish to try this... DO IT, DO IT SOON!! You will wish you had like me, and everyone else that day that had not done it before.. Steve Osner and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly! I felt welcome the moment I showed up and felt like I was leaving friends when it was time to go.. knowing I would return to see and jump with them again. Once in the plane and on the way up they made everyone feel like part of the team. And for those that think, this is unsafe.. well you ARE jumping from a perfectly good airplane.. :) however, the staff are professionals at what they do. Safety is the top of their agenda and it shows! I think they may have wrote the book on how to be safety experts and friendly at the same time! So if you think you are too old or timid to try it, think about this... as this was my first time jumping, I witnessed one of our elders that needed help walking up the stairs to the viewing room thinking she was there to watch her grandson jump, it turned out she was there for her second jump at ninety one years old.. Yeah, 91 years and her second jump!! She was in the group before me so I got to see her after her jump.. INCREDIBLE! She said she wanted to do it for her children and got the video package.. How GREAT is that!? Yup, I'm for sure doing it again! THANK YOU Skydive...

I was so please with my planned SkyDive at the Butler Airport this past Saturday, All the employees are the nicest people you woulld ever want to meet, everything that happen was more than I expected. From the time tat my friend arived in the parking lot and looking to drive as close to the starting place, myself being handicap with diffulculity walking. I was offer a ride on a catt by a very kind gentleman who I learn had made about 4000 jumps he told me. He dove me right dowm to where I needed to be This very nice looking area where we were to view a video and be suited up in tandum rigging. The next people I met were where took care of business paying my bill signing a wavior. The three ladies were in such a happy mood with lots of smiles.Next as we waited the six of us plus out instructors to board the plane we watched two groups of parachuters fill the sky with such beauty, While we waited the employee were around to answer any ouestions and make us feel so welcome. The setting was not at all I expect, but open for any ou the people to get real close where we were watching the video and preparing with other things we had to do. The weather was so beauitful, Steve wa my Instructor what a nice guy he, answered all my qustions. and help in every way to calm me, What a day, and I was so please with Skydive KC, and already I am tellig everyone of what a thrill I had, Thanks to all of Skydive KC crew and especily Steve, Thanks once again Steve.
