I’d give it zero if I could. These people that run this course are extremely rude. Ahead of time was actually recommended to not play this course because the staff; I was told the lady in her 70’s with the short grey hair specifically is a “b**”.
They set us off on our tee time (12:50PM) with a hole open ahead of us. 5 holes in, an elderly man also very rude upon approach told us that we needed to move faster because there is a hole open ahead of us. Stated before; there was one already open ahead of us by a long shot. We began our 18 which we paid full price for by playing best ball. The two people that me and my significant other were playing with , play on a league and were setting the pace with best ball. We averaged 3 shots to the green with this strategy. We did have groups stacking behind us so we weren’t nearly as skilled as them.
Approaching the clubhouse after 9 holes. Which was about 2 hours in. We were rushed to tee off while the other half of our group went in to use the restroom. We were harassed up until the moment we tee’d off. Which was within 10 minutes of arriving after the front 9.
We were left alone on the back 9, but we still were being stalked along the way by said elderly gentleman. Had at least 7 back holes to play relaxed even though we paid for 18.
I told them I was unhappy with the service and they harassed me even as I walked out the door telling me about state regulations say 2 hours per 9. Then the blonde haired ponytail lady began to get aggressive and changed it to an hour and a half, While the elderly woman corrected her by saying 2 hours. We finished our 18 at 4:50PM.
First thing I was addressed condescendingly with entering the clubhouse by Joy after our 18 was “hey, you finally made it”. Assuming her name is Joy based on the many of comments throughout.
I believe they pad their reviews with fake accounts. All you have to do is read through. They’re so many terrible ones, speaking on very similar experiences. Listen to the people Do not go here!
Highly recommend Maple Hill less than 2 miles away. Golfed 18 there a week before with a tournament going on. ...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I have been to this golf course twice for our second and third time golfing. Both times when we called to set a tee time an older lady answered the phone very rudely and would hardly let me answer any questions and when I did it was as if I answered her question wrong because she had so much attitude. When we played there both time, we were bothered multiple times because we let people through since we were both new to golf going a bit slower than everyone, we were also bothered simply just because we were “going slow” (trying to learn and enjoy) and there was nobody behind us and everytime we did “go faster” we would be waiting for others in front of us anyway. Everytime we have let someone pass us they APPRECIATED it and thanked us. When we were in front of the clubhouse teeing off right after they told us to go faster they told us to wait for the people ahead so they never made sense. The second time we walked in we had a lunchbox of drinks that they asked if it was a purse or a cooler and when they found out it was a cooler they immediately accused us of sneaking alcohol on the course and took it to search the cooler when there was no alcohol at all. When we started to set our things on the cart to go they started to talk about us as they were walking back in the clubhouse saying “that’s the group form last week” “oh my god, oh my god”. There were others standing around and it was absolutely humiliating the way we were being treated and talked to. You could clearly tell we aren’t professionals or anything. We simply just wanted to get into the sport and clearly they don’t not accept new learns. We felt like idiots the whole time only because of the people working there and running the place. We definitely do not recommend this golf course nor will we ever...
Read moreThis course has the worst customer service that I’ve seen in a long time. When we walked in 15 minutes before our tee time to pay, they didn’t have anything but Gatorade’s and Arnold Palmers for non alcoholic beverages and no sugar free options, and then told us we couldn’t take a cart into the parking lot to load our clubs when we asked, which would’ve been fine, but when we went to go get our clubs we saw multi groups with their carts at their vehicles.
Then one of the members of our group needed to go to the bathroom before hitting off tee two. We were waiting for a family with two kids that were playing ahead of us, so we turned back to the clubhouse, told the party behind us to play through and we got berated by the people running this place. The gentleman running the place walked in on the person in the bathroom, then came back to talk to me at the cart asking what hole we were on and how we could have used the port-a-potty on hole 4, and said not to hold anyone up! We got back to tee two and the group behind us was just finishing on the green, and the new group behind us was just teeing off hole 1.
We came to the turn and I went into the clubhouse to use the bathroom and asked for more ice because ours was all melted. The lady at the front desk made me go get my bag with the melted ice and one Gatorade and one Arlond Palmer we had left before she gave me more ice.
When we were leaving, we heard that same lady and gentleman asking about “where the good old boys” were and how they needed to pick up the pace.
Good luck looking for the fairways because they're not much shorter than the rough and the trees aren't trimmed on the back nine so I hope you can hit low enough to get through the overgrown branches.
This is not a course we will be...
