Walgreens — Local services in Cabo Rojo

Please please please. Something needs to be done with the dogs outside the pharmacy door. Today I went with my 6 year old son and there was a Rottweiler inside the store. It did not belong to anyone and some Walgreens employees were petting the dog. The dog was approaching customers on the queue near the cashiers. Although Rottweilers tend to be good in nature, any strange/street dog is not trustworthy.

There are sometimes also dogs on the floor in front of the entrance. When customers go to Cabo Rojo, PR Walgreens have either to jump over the dogs or use the door that's has no dog on the floor near the entrance.

I understand dogs are animals that need to be loved and care for. Walgreens is not an animal shelter or family home, it's a pharmacy. People also bring food to the dogs and leave the food around the outside area of Walgreens. This it's aggravating the situation. Instead of leave food for them wouldn't be better to take the dog to a nice home so it doesn't stay in the street?

Customer service it's great but this is a situation that's has been dragging along for more than a year.

Por favor algo se necesita hacer en cuanto a los perros que están frente a las puertas de Walgreens, Cabo Rojo, PR. Hoy fui con mi niño de 6 años y había un Rottweiler dentro de Walgreens. Estaba rondando en la línea de los clientes que iban a pagar, incluso algunos empleados lo acariciaron. No le pertenecía a nadie. Solo estaba dentro de la tienda y era un perro grande.

Algunas veces hay hasta perros fuera de la puerta de Walgreens. Los clientes tienen que saltar sobre los perros para poder pasar o pasar por la puerta de entrada donde los perros no estén acostados.

Los animales deben ser amados y protegidos. Aún así Walgreens no es un hogar de animales ni un hogar de familia es una farmacia. Tambien algunas personas le llevan comida a estos perros y las dejan fuera de los alrededores dela tienda. A veces la comida de perros se riega por todos lados. Esto ha agravado la situacion. No sería mejor llevar estos perros a un hogar que les brinde amor? En ves de seguir dejándolos en la calle.

El servicio al cliente es bastante bueno pero está situación lleva casi...

Today was a major fail at this Walgreens. With an appointment for a Covid booster, we were kept waiting an hour and 20 minutes past the appointment time, eventually leaving in exasperation. Even getting back in line to inquire about the delay, the line was simply not moving. What's odd, there were about 7 people attending in the pharmacy area, but only one at the counter, but disappearing for a stretch of time here and there. Others near us for much simpler matters, like just picking up meds (inside), also had long waits (over 30 minutes). If the customers weren't all so old, we might have had a riot! :) We will schedule our mothers booster...

I continuously call and specifically need to speak to the pharmacy because I want to explain how my prescription has been cancelled in the US and transferred to the local Walgreens in Cabo Rojo. I’ve called 4 times in the past 3 hours and after being on hold the call drops. Every time. Abominable. I will have to go personally to the location, stand on line and inconvenience myself. I am not a complainer but the phone connections...
