My daughter was married here and she and the surroundings were beautiful! However, although the venue was nice the man who owns it was dishonest! I believe his name was Amir. My mother went to look at the venue with my daughter and her now husband as I live out of town. All three of them remember Amir telling them that he would include the wood tables at no extra cost. Yet, when my daughter contacted the venue Amir was nowhere to be found. I tried to contact Amir several times as did other family members and he NEVER returned anyone's call! Not only did Zenobia (the employee my daughter spoke with) not include the tables she said, "oh I'm sure that's not what he meant" (meaning Amir).
Three people, my daughter, her husband, and my mother heard him say he would include the table and yet that didn't happen. She had to pay between $800 and $1000 to use the tables. After that Zenobia then charged them for other things that were to be included as well.
They also charged my daughter and her husband $540 to cut the cake and provide tea and coffee and serve it to the guests. Not only was there no tea or coffee to be found anywhere but the wedding planner had to cut the cake with one of the servers help and then it was just left on the table!
Had I been there I would have made sure everything was in writing! As it happens many times with dishonest people they did the old "bait and switch"! Once Amir got my daughter excited about the venue and the food and all of the so called "perks" he would include he left everything out of the contract! Unfortunately my daughter is too trusting. I would never recommend this place due to the dishonesty of the owner, Amir and the other...

Read moreI booked this as a wedding venue here for 8 hours. My dad has cancer, Parkinson's, a hip replacement, and cannot walk. This venue refused to use their golf carts to drive my dad down a steep dark path in order to use the restroom. They said the golf carts were being utilized. I was unaware until after the fact that my 79 year old father had to roll his walker down this steep unlit driveway to use the restroom and try to walk back up it. My mom had to hold him up to prevent him from falling forward. It's comical that there's a wheelchair accessible sign on the front door of this place.
Besides that, the venue ran out of non alcoholic beverages within 15 minutes of opening the bar. There are mosquitos and bugs in your face constantly the entire time. It's freezing outside with no heaters. The sound system is awful. There is no parking. They charged $7 for valet but they don't have a ticketing system so they just dump all the car keys for my guests to "figure it out" at the end of the night. They also block off parts of Topanga canyon to utilize for parking cars, so you can't park there for free yourself. They don't own that land where they block off car access. I wouldn't recommend this...
