Visited today with a few friends celebrating a birthday- was so excited being that Iām a LA native and had never been. We made a reservation days ahead and thank goodness we did, very busy when we arrived - several people waiting. They had valet for $7 bucks - worth it!
They seated us immediately. We were escorted by a friendly female down about 10 or so stairs to a deck with great views. Server (male older gentleman) came to table and right from the jump was rude no hello or welcome - he just asked what can I get you to drinkā¦. I ordered the raspberry lavender lemonade- and he rudely responded ā we do t have thatā ā¦ā¦ so I ordered something else(will revert back to this)ā so that was that
We all ordered our food and the food was delicious!!! I had the chicken pesto club which was hearty and well spiced with a thick piece of juicy chicken ( no complaints here) ā so while weāre eating some family was seated behind us - the wife ordered the same raspberry lemonade and served the lemonade shortly !!! I was shoook !!! So we just laughed and were like did that really just happen ā¦
We had been there 50 minutes according to bank statement with since I forgot my receipt to referenceā and checked out , the waiter automatically punched in the tip amount not allowing me to modify which according to the website isnāt in effect unless itās a part of 7 (which we werenāt) - THEN waiter walks away no thank you no come again nothing ā¦. Not even 1 minute after he had walked away he walks back to our table and says ā can you get up - people are waiting for this table ā We were all just flabbergasted with what he just told us ⦠the limit per table is 90 minutes we had been there not even an hr

We got in, were seated after a wait, even with a reservation and the whole drama over, "NO you don't". Talking to me like that is a mistake, especially when I have a child with me.
A server brought us warm water. I asked for ice. It never came. Another server came to take our order. We had, the Hearty Tuna Melt, which was cold in the middle. The wheat toast did not go well with this. The combination of cheeses was good. We also had the Club Sandwich which is blue sourdough walnut toast, sliced turkey breast, lettuce, tomato. bacon, tarragon aioli, with sweet potato fries on the side. There was very little turkey for the absurd price, and it was just average (something I would make at home if I was in a hurry). Finally, we had baby back ribs that were just awful. The sauce was not good. They did not taste good and no one would eat them after one bite. They are all sparkle and no substance. They just don't know how to cook.
The service was just the worse and we were told someone was waiting for our table. Well, that is just too bad. We would be long gone if it did not take so long to get, for the most part, terrible food. We were never asked what we wanted to drink, we were never checked on. Our server was no where to be found. She dropped the food and the next time we saw her was to give us a bill. She never said thank you, how was it, nothing.
This place is fine dinning prices for a view. That is all they really have, a great view.
What a rip off and don't even get me started on the flying insects outside and how hot it was out...

One of the chairs was free and the other chair was occupied by me. She wanted me and my boyfriend to move down to the two chairs that were empty but still had the previous partyās food plates all over the table so we waited about 30 seconds while the bus boy came to clean it and Olivia continued to aggressively order me to move down I asked her how do you expect me to move down with our 4 plates of food they just brought and drinks to that side that still has the plates and utensils cups etc from the party that just left. She grabbed my purse rushing me to still move down bc she needed the chair I was taken aback as this was our first time here and she completely ruined my experience I didnāt even get to enjoy my food bc we hadnāt even started eating when this All happened. Iām very disappointed that this staff member has zero customer service on how to kindly communicate with your paying customers it honestly made me not want to come back because of her and how rude and aggressive she was. Even my boyfriend who is very easy going and nothing ever bothers him felt her being extremely rude and couldnāt believe she just grabbed my purse to make us rush to the side. I hope to hear back from someone soon. Or at least have upper management give proper training to Olivia especially if she is the host of your business or maybe move her to another position where she doesnāt have to interact with customers since thatās clearly not a skill she...
