We had to drive from Senecaville to Hayes hardware in Caldwell and decided to stop at save-a-lot even though we didnt have our grocery list we thought we would decide when we got there. We were met at the door by an employee that told us 1 cart/ 1 person..I'm OK with that. I asked if she meant only one person could enter, thinking maybe only so many people were allowed in the store at one time. She said " no , he can get a cart and come in but he better have some things in his cart"...really rude like she was threatening us. What if he didn't find what he wanted? Luckily he wanted a couple things since they didn't have disinfectant wipes, which was his main reason for stopping at the store. I really appreciate our AldI and Riesbecks in Cambridge now!    Read moreTheir prices are very good. Especially when one is on a fixed income. The produce section could really use better attention. I’ve seen some produce that I wouldn’t even pick up (literally) because of mold and rot. Granted they get the “past sell by” date from Food Center but they still need to pay better attention. I’m guessing it’s the store’s owner (same owner as Food Center) that’s telling them to put it out. I wouldn’t even feed it to a rabbit because sometimes it’s just that bad. Oh yeah, always check the sell by dates, I’ve found quite a few things that are past due. Im sure that’s why their prices are low...
