It was Friday afternoon between 4 and 5 p.m. and I was passing through Calhoun City on my way home - which is 80 miles further north in Hickory Flat. I was lucky enough to have a belt break in front of this auto dealership! But, they were busy and not far from closing and I was not optimistic that they could get to us. However, service manager Charles Rose said if no one was available to replace my belt in the service department, he would put it on himself. I was rolling again in 15 minutes!! All the other employees were also very friendly and accommodating. My nephew and I had driven 1700 miles in the previous 3 days and fully expected having to be towed home, on the last day of our trip, due to the proximity to closing time with a weekend pending to boot. We were hot, tired and this was the last thing we needed on the final leg of our trip... Not only did we get lucky having an issue right in front of an auto dealership, we got VERY lucky it was Cannon's! Mr. Rose also diagnosed an underlying problem and gave me a very reasonable price quote. I will be back. We are most appreciative. They know how to treat people. Now that I live in Starkville and work 9-5 in West Point, I was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to continue my service relationship with Cannon Motor Company in Calhoun City. When I asked Johnny what we should do, he assured me that I would be taken care of. Sure enough Charles had me a car waiting in Starkville and took my car back to Calhoun city for a full servicing.
