Blessed Family Deli — Restaurant in Calhoun City

Blessed Family Deli is a former Subway. I expected this quaint, little restaurant to be a duplicate of the typical Subway. In no way is this place a copy cat of Subway! From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I knew it was different because I was warmly greeted at the door. My order was taken with no mistakes which happens a lot in fast food. The selection was extremely varied with all my favorite salad items including cranberries, raisins and olives. The food was obviously fresh. There were dessert items available. I called for a to-go order the next time. The woman on the phone was extraordinarily patient with me and told me about each and every item. Who does that?? She wanted my to-go salad to be utter perfection and it was in every way! We live in an extremely small community in N.E. MS and there are no choices for dining. Blessed Family Deli transcends from what is expected to all you could ever want. It's a delightful and delicious respite from the ho-hum of fast food restaurants. If you live in Calhoun County like I do with my husband or you're passing through; treat yourself to a sandwich or salad at this humble yet perfect little restaurant...

Don’t go to this store the owners are the worst they are so rude. They will not help you enjoy anything. They are the total opposite of a friendly atmosphere. If you want to go to the most UNFRIENDLY...

I love the pizza here! They also have the best salad bar around. The owner is always so nice and courteous when we go in. She is always there too working right beside her...
