Citi Trends — Local services in Calumet Township

I visited your Citi Trends location in Gary Indiana on 4th Avenue in the Tri city plaza on August 4th 2019 at about 3:00 p.m. I set my daughter up in a dressing Room with ten pair of uniform pants and 2 pair of shoes. Upon trying on the garments my daughter had to use the bathroom and it was sort of emergent so I asked an employee can she use the restroom. The employee stated yes however he said that I had to go through the store manager. I walked up fight I asked the store manager Ken my daughter use the bathroom and I told her that it was an emergency, I explained that we had a dressing Room set up and I was trying not to leave and come back. With the nastiest attitude she told me that she didn't have anyone that could go in the bathroom and watch my 11 year old daughter so no she couldn't use it. There was no local businesses in the area that I could go to and let my daughter to use the restroom (the nearest was literally 3 miles away, a McDonald's) and then come back, needless to say Citi Trends lost a sale of 10 pair of uniform pants 5 shirts and 2 pair of shoes because I left and I'm never shopping with Citi Trends again. What a joke. I'm in the store needing help with an item on the top hanger. I looked for pole while asking for help. I found a worker and after asking for help I was given the nastiest attitude ever. She is an older lady short hair cut and edges looking as if she has alopecia(only for reference) she informed me that I would have to find the stick and get it down. I was confused so I repeated what she said and why did I do that. With all the nasty she could muster she told me that was citi trends policy. Seems crazy that they want a customer to that. Say I never asked for help and didn't find the pole. The shirt would not have been sold which is a profit for the store. I'm not from Gary but everything I've been told has reign true. I will be shopping at a different location. I don't see how they still standing with that mean bald...

Citi Trends can be a hit or miss. I’ve put together amazing outfits from out of this store and I’ve also been so annoyed with the up keeping of the store that I really couldn’t look around. Maybe having a few extra associates to help keep the floor clean would fix the issue. There are a few really nice employees that will help with any questions and a couple that have bad attitudes.
