Picked up on 07/30/24. If you have a CB you’ll need a six digit pick up number. Or park in the driveway and walk to the far end (South Side) of door or call phone number listed on signs. There is a long driveway as you enter the facility and there are multiple signs giving you instructions on what you can and can’t do. Read the signs.
This place has inspectors that will be very picky. Back up to the dumpster(located in the northwest corner of the lot. Sweep out your trailer before the inspection. If your trailer smells bad, if your trailer has dirt in the floorboard screws/bolts that hold the floorboards down, if you have scrap pieces of paper in the E-Tracks, if you have any debris or trash or grease stains, if your trailer is wet, if you have any holes in your trailer. Your trailer will be rejected. You’ll get the yellow paper of shame and you will be asked to either get a trailer washout or be told why they can’t load your trailer.
My load was food grade sugar. It’s not sugar like the one that goes in your coffee. It’s an ingredient that goes into food that is sold for human consumption.
I gave them three stars because there is no restroom, not even a Johnny on the spot, there is no break room and the truck stop in town does not allow staging for this facility. I have no idea how the truck stop monitors that but the truck stop had a sign as you enter it. Behind the truck stop is a trailer wash out facility. It was not open due to their equipment being broke. I do not know if they allow overnight parking. There is plenty of room for backing up to the docks.
Everyone at the facility is professional and polite but apparently a lot of drivers show up and get rejected because the shipper wants to load a food grade trailer. Your trailer MUST BE FREE AND CLEAR OF ANY DEBRIS AND DRY. If you are coming here to pick up a load I would stop at trailer wash out BEFORE arriving, wait two hours for it to dry before picking up. If you drive a reefer trailer Id get a wash out as well because sometimes those trailers hold...
