Updated 2024: Tee boxes are uneven but grassy, fairways are decent, greens are good not great, and bunkers are good. "Grass on the tee boxes" should not ever be a selling point for a golf course but a win is a win. 2021-2022 the tee boxes were dirt.
If you compare to a course like Los Robles (at 2x the price) the fairways are worse but ok if you ignore the relatively few dead spots, the greens are slow but comparable in maintenance, and the tees are bad but acceptable.
If you compare to Riverridge, which as of Sept 2024 is about 12$ more expensive, the tees, fairways, greens, are comparable, which makes cam springs good.
Tee times are now 8 minutes apart (in 2024) instead of 7 (in 2021). I haven't played a prime time in 2024 to check pace of play, but you can guess how it will go with 8 minute tee times. As of 2022, which I think still had 7 minute tee times, weekend pace of play was 5:45
Basically the course is decent, and when you factor in the price then "decent" actually means "pretty great"
Hole 12 is right next to the driving range, and the net is missing in the area. Its absurd. There are range balls littered around the green, so when you play hole 12 you are worried another one will come and concuss you.
2021 Review: Horrible tee boxes and fairways, good greens and bunkers. They schedule tee times 7 minutes apart (in 2021, as of 2024 it is 8 minutes apart...lol). I stopped playing here regularly, but a weekend round takes about 5:45 and I confirmed that again in August of 2022. The owner is trying to sell the course to home developers and it shows lol.
Take a look at the photos for course conditions. The greens are most important and they do that well, but the teeboxes and fairways are quite...
Read moreThis was my wife's first time ever golfing so we thought it would be a great experience. The front counter guys were very nice and helped us with whatever we needed (they get 5 stars). We started on the back nine so we wouldn't get in anyone's way while she learned. Not long after we started, the ranger started hounding us to play faster even though we weren't holding anyone up. I've golfed my whole life so I know when to let people play through. "Each hole should take 14 minutes to play" he said. So we continued. He hounded us again about carts leaving the path. So if your ball goes left, and the path is on the right, start walking. I live on this course and carts leave the paths all the time. After we were done, we drove the cart to the car to unload and guess who shows up?? Ranger. "You can't take your cart in the parking lot". I've seen 7 carts in the lot just on this day. Not going back, the course isn't nice for what you pay, and the ranger will find any way to tell you you're doing something wrong. I should have given the ranger clubs to play since he was with us...
Read moreI have played this course numerous time and the staff has always been friendly and professional. However today a groundskeeper yelled and screamed at one of my group for something he hadn't done. He not only did it once but continued yelling appears Lu so his friends sitting near the grill could hear. This was abusive and since my paying partner was Asian I believe it was bias and prejudicial. If he had done something wrong then he only needed to be told once and in a professional manner. This was embassing to me, my group and the group on the tee box that were waiting while my friend was being chastise for about 5-10 minutes. It appears that the group in front of us was a six person group which is unheard of. But it appears that's ok . This sort of treatment is not the manner in which I would want anyone to be treated. Thank...
