Recently had both my Spouses car and my truck in for service. Our fairly new car was in for annual inspection and my truck for brake work. Our car did not need any attention but I can assure you that, with the safety of our vehicles in mind, Master Mechanic Certified owner/operator Dan Wyckoff and his team of highly trained professionals would have taken care of it. Our vehicles’ safety is very important to us, knowing that we can drive with confidence and keep other motor vehicle operators safe on the road as well. My truck needed brake work after 4 years with the factory installed brakes which is typical and expected. The pulsating and steering wheel pull while braking told me so. I can tell you now that depressing the brake pedal never felt so good; very smooth, true and with zero pull. I could have had the team install lower quality brake parts at a lower cost but we are not interested in returning just a year or two later for the same issue. Replacing all 4 brake rotors & pads for my Toyota Tundra was exceptionally reasonable using high quality parts. This is what we have come to expect from Dan and his team who we have relied on for more than a decade. This is a full service shop where all of our auto mechanical needs are met in addition to a wide range of additional vehicle services, including our after-hours needs 24/7, 365 days per year. If we need our vehicles moved or relocated, they have the equipment to do so. If we are involved in an accident or end up off road in a ditch, Dan and his team of highly trained professionals have the proper equipment and tactical experience necessary to extract our vehicles safely with minimal or no further damage. If we need our vehicles under coated with FLUID FILM brand undercoating, which I feel is crucial to our vehicles longevity due to Vermont’s salty Winter road conditions, Dan and his team perform this service as well. I had my Tundra undercarriage coated and 4 years later it looks well preserved and like new. Are you having your motor vehicle serviced at a dealership and concerned about your motor vehicles’ maintenance records? No worries there, Dan and his team have the computer software in place to do just that and we have access to those records 24/7. Notch Road Auto Repair in Jeffersonville, Vermont is hands down the best, friendliest, most experienced assembled team of automotive mechanical professionals in Lamoille County, VT and there is no job too big for their undertaking. Why have our motor vehicles...
Read moreWorst customer service, will never go back. Brought my car in for inspection on a Wednesday, failed due to exhaust issue ON ONE SIDE, needed front brake pads and rotors, and incorrect tire size. I called THREE days in a row to get the estimate for the work. Each time I was told someone would call me back by days end, never happened. Finally get an estimate and a follow up appointment. Meantime, buy new tires. Got a call the day of my appointment to say I could bring my car in early. I indicated I had new tires that I needed put on and was told they would make it work. Brought the car in at 11:30 AM and was told it would take 3.5 to 4 hours. Called at 4:30, told it would not pass inspection because now suddenly the other side of exhaust needed replacement. Also told the front brakes are "fine", no longer need to be replaced. Never put the new tires on. So, they had my car for over 4 hours and the only thing that was done was an exhaust flange... charged me 1.5 hours. I asked why the tires were not put on and was told he didn't have time?? 4 hours they had my car and no tires put on and no inspection. I will NEVER go back there again and I DO NOT recommend this...
Read moreAfter a nice weekend at Smuggler's Notch Resort, I was driving my knackered old Saab sedan out of town when POP....my radiator hosepipe burst apart from the subzero temperatures. After waiting on hold with AAA for entirely too long (was blocking traffic and temp was falling), I searched and found Notch Road Auto Repair, who sent a flatbed within twenty minutes. After confirming that it was indeed my hosepipe, Dan, the rather professional owner, informed me that the soonest replacement part would be available upon their regular delivery the next day. I was able to book an additional night in my hotel in Jeffersonville and one of his mechanics was even kind enough to give me a ride back into town for the night. By the next day, the hosepipe was repaired and between the tow, th part, and the installation, for a very reasonable cost.
Notch Road Auto Repair is a top-level repair garage, from their expert services to their well-stocked Keurig machine. You could not ask for a better place to need...
