Let me start by saying that this was some of the best service that I have ever received from a florist! I used to live in, Jersey, and now live in, Oregon. Every year, we send a bouquet to my grandmother (my children's 82 year old great-grandmother) in, Jersey. As she told me many times, "Don't send me any flowers that I can't smell", meaning, don't wait until she's dead to send her roses/bouquets (LOL). So, we make sure she gets them every year!
Anyway, this year I wanted to try someone local, instead of ordering them online. It was kinda short notice, but Ronda guaranteed that they could make the delivery and would send a picture of what was sent. There was a bit of a hiccup, and once Ronda got wind of it, she was in the shop on a, SUNDAY, when they're usually closed, making those "hiccups" go away. My grandmother was so pleased with the arrangement -- she said she really loved them. That's all I needed.
Thank you, Ronda! Like I told you before, "You're the bee's knees!" I will definitely be using them again. Ordering stuff online can be overrated. Try using your local shops and give these businesses your support. That personal touch can make all the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEarly morning delivery of bouquet was great - the gentleman knocked and made sure I received my flowers. They were not left out to wither in the elements.
All of the flowers had already bloomed (at least two days prior) except for the snapdragons. The roses looked pretty rough, but the hot pink carnations were in decent shape. The biggest problem with receiving an already past-bloom bouquet is that it dies rather quickly. I know to snip the ends, to trim leaves below water line, refresh the water, recut ends, and place it in a cooler room with no direct sunlight.
I had a grocery store bouquet given to me almost two weeks earlier (admittedly, just more than half the flowers remained, but it still made for a nice arrangement). THOSE flowers still managed to outlast this poor bouquet. I was able to enjoy it (roses were too far gone by day 2) for only 2-3 days... when my grocery store bouquet lasted over 2 weeks.
Clarification: flowers were similar, and although roses were first to go on grocery bouquet - they still lasted a week.
I received this as a gift & was too embarrassed to mention it to the person who...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI received flowers for Valentine's Day. It was NOT the arrangement my husband ordered. They smelled musty, had broken flowers and dried/dead leaves. The lilly's were brown and wilted. I called and they said they would send another arrangement in the morning. I had to call at 12:30 to find out where my replacement was. It just arrived at 2:15, the woman who delivered them was not friendly and had a very poor attitude. The flowers are just ok, looks more like a funeral spread as there are NO flowers in the back. I'm betting they will probably die in a day or so. When I take them home, I will let my husband decide if he should request a refund. Needless to say we will never order again from them. Below is what was ordered vs. what was received. Just sad and very poor...
