Room2game is not the game store to buy from.

I've lived in Cameron Park for the majority of my life. Room2game was always an enjoyable place to visit.

Recently, the store has become inundated with horrible consumer practices, terrible services, and the smell of pot.

Magic The Gathering products have an msrp, or the suggested retail price point. The majority of brick and mortar stores don't deviate from this price point. Target, Walmart, Gamestop, and the local A1 comics all follow this price guideline. For example, the spider man collector booster box msrp is 450. Recently at the store I was quoted 800. Eight. Hundred. Dollars. An obscene markup far above any retailer, card store, or online market. Greedy and disappointing. The store owner is taking advantage of un-educated gamers.

Service has been atrocious. In the last six months, every time I've gone in, its taken an extreme amount of time to get a staff members attention. Of course, some members of the staff are helpful, but some refuse to help until you've hovered staring at them for fifteen minutes.

These factors have made me refuse to go into this store. A store that I used to love. Avoid it like the plague. Seek stores that sell fair prices and have good...

I want to like this store, as Cam is extremely helpful and its a nice local atmosphere. However if he or the girl attendant are not in you're better off heading down the hill to any other store, because you most likely won't get helped. Event nights are worse as the event often supersedes any help for most of the workers. I appreciate that they enjoy their job, but a visit that is planned to be 10 minutes often turns to 20-30 minutes of wandering the case hoping a worker acknowledges you. Even if you're acknowledged they oftentimes leave as quick as they can to stare at the wall and you either leave...

This place is great for kids and adults alike. It is family friendly and have hosted multiple birthday parties for kids and adults. The owner is extremely friendly and many of the patrons are inviting and welcoming. They have games for purchase or play, and hold multiple events for bigger tabletop games such as 5e DND and Warhammer 40K. Any one who enjoys tabletop or trading card games or have interest in them should check this place out and could easily make friends among those...
