Lynxx Networks — Local services in Camp Douglas

Just got connected to Lynxx's fiber service today after being a Mediacom customer for years. The whole process from start to finish was incredibly easy. Their staff, from the person on the phone to the install technician were very pleasant and professional. While I didn't have any strong complaints about Mediacom's internet speed, I had experienced some intermittent connection issues on occasion and their price climbed faster than inflation. Comparatively, my new Lynxx plan is 2.5X faster for downloads, 20X faster for uploads and AND is significantly cheaper! During Lynxx's 2-year introductory period, I'll be paying roughly $60 per month LESS than what I had been paying Mediacom for slower service. After the the 2-year introductory period with Lynxx is over, it is set to go up to a still reasonable amount that will still be $40 per month less than what I have been paying Mediacom. I have had the new fiber service to my house for 3 months. It started out OK and was certainly better than my previous provider in Mauston. It started to buffer and freeze and get blurry and was frustrating but then it would get better. It wasn't all the time but at inopportune times. After a month or 2 of frustration, I called and let them know I wasn't happy and asked if there was something they could do. A couple of hours later a service rep came to the house. He was there about a 1/2 hour. He made adjustments to my network and mesh booster and wham !!!!! I appreciate the attention to my request and service. Nate was great, as he not only made adjustments to the system, but he explained what he was doing and why. It now is running so much faster and cleaner. Thank you for setting me up. So far so good, I'll let you know in 3 months when I repost.......... I said I would repost in three months and it's been 10 months but the reason I haven't reposted Is because I can finally get things done with the internet speeds that lynxx provides. I've had no down time I've had no dropped and picked up internet sessions and I can post updates to the internet without worrying about being dropped in the middle of a post and losing the website that I was posting to. In the Juneau County area if you had Frontier as your service provider you know that you wouldn't put it in your dog house let alone rely on it for your internet service.
