General Baptist Nursing Home of Campbell, MO — Local services in Campbell

I thought this place was wonderful and caring. Lots of activities. UNTIL, my mom's dementia got worse. Then they flung her in a hall behind locked doors, that was just short of a hell hole. Ran down, water damaged cabinets and elderly people screaming and crying for help- look like a 40's insane asylum. But it has windows so they can stand there and stare at the others in other unit playing games and laughing. JUST PLAIN CRUEL. I wouldn't put a dog in there....

Absolutely abhorrent behavior for people that are entrusted with elderly family members that cannot speak for or advocate for themself. I understand COVID, understaffing, and dementia. If you are unable to deal with these situations you obviously do not need to have a Alzheimer’s ward. People without dementia were asking for help....

They were fine with my mother until she had a stroke, then they wanted her out because she was not happy with her treatment and they encouraged me to take her to their nursing home in Arkansas. She wasn’t happy there and management would avoid talking to me, it was horrible. I would NEVER suggest this nursing home...
