The manager of the store ( I asked her for her name, she said Michell) is SUPER rude and completely lacking customer service skills. I bought the glass plates tonight and after I step out of the door instantly the thin bag broke and all the plate get to the concrete braking to peaces. The cashier though was nice and helpful call the manager telling me that it is not my fault, so I get the refund. After 10 min waiting outside of the store, the manager came in and without even looking at me, completely ignoring, she starts cleaning broken glass right in front of me. When I ask to return my money for the broker plates ( which obviously wasn’t my fault) she said “No”. The reason was that I already paid for it, and step out of the door. She didn’t care that the bag broke from the bottom, since the plates were heavy and needed to be at least double bagged. Not even apologize! Super unprofessional and disrespectful. For the past 6 months or so I have only seen the same 2 or 3 ladies in there working everytime. I know most Dg's always have a line for the checkout because the only have one register usually open. BUT, from what I have seen recently these ladies are overworked and terribly understaffed. These inventory carts have been sitting down all of there isles for MONTHS!You can hardly get down the them. They have no help whatsoever to get this mess taken care of. I have never seen it this bad. So If HUMAN RESOURCES reads this review, hire these women some help! Read moreThere are or were two ladies that I'd stop in to see and say hello almost on a regular basis. Always spoke when I entered the store and always had a smile. I've not seen them in a little while but stopped by one morning on my way to work a few weeks ago and there were four different ladies working. They weren't quite as friendly and seemed to dismiss the fact that a customer was even in the store and even seemed annoyed by that! Maybe they were new and if that's the case, learning some customer service and people skills in general will take them a lot farther than the behavior they displayed that morning.
