These people are outstanding!

Well sadly I was in for my last visit. Not because I'm a unhappy customer but because I'm going be moving out of state...far away from this state.

This is why I say these people are "outstanding"...

Many months ago I made a deal with one of their VPs. The deal was if his people continued wear and mandate masks I would grocery shop with them exclusively. Part of that was a few special orders with zero problems.

Everyone has been dripping with kindness for me every time I have been in without exception or fail. There are going to be only two companies I will miss in Michigan. Ric's, of course, and Wesco, Sparta.

Their higher than average pricing was well worth the top notch personalized customer service they provide that you just can't find anyplace else.

Now here's the thing that made tonight extra special for me...

A wonderful lady named Shannon was the cashier tonight. I've never actually saw the same person twice except two of their managers. They have since vacated their mask mandates and check out shields.

But, Shannon was such a wonderful caring human being that on polite request she did happily put on a mask just as quick as she could find one. That was more special to me than she or any of the senior leadership will ever know. THANK YOU SHANNON!!! THANK...

I gave it 2 stars for friendliness and convenience. The food selections are limited and really over priced, yet I still go there for the convenience. I have been there a handful of times in the last year. When I was there a week & a half ago, I bought a bouquet of flowers. Something stunk REALLY bad near that area there and I wasn't sure what it was until I got home. Upon opening the rubberband and wrapping, I figured out that smell. The water in the vases that held the flowers wasn't changed regularly making it that area stink. The stems were slimy, black, moldy, and stunk badly. I had to cut them down more than halfway forcing me to use a solo cup instead of a vase. The purple ones were dry & crispy when we purchased it(didn't feel them). By the 2nd day some of the flowers were already tipping down. By the 4th day they were all dead and dropping petals. And by the 6th day(even after changing the water & food mix) the stems had grown a lot of furry mold on them. Not satisfied at all with this purchase. Months ago I had bought flowers from there as well and I remember that those died really quickly too. I won't shop there anymore because that is just ridiculous. The pictures were from...

Only went in for the add items. Did not have current sales flyer where the other adds were. Was interested in stew meat and there was none in the case. Found 2 people from the meat department asking a lady if she would like to have a huge piece of meat cut (it was in the ladies cart). She said yes so the guy took it and I asked the other meat department lady about the stew meat. Told me to give her a few minutes and she will look. After a bit I went up to the meat department window and watched her help the guy, who was cutting the large piece of meat. I knocked on the window, she came to the door and asked what she could do for me. I asked about the stew meat again, she said she totally forgot. Will check now, don't move. She came back and said the meat guy didn't have any stew meat cut.

Went to check out and the cashier was very nice and she was the same one who showed me the correct add.

The lady that was bagging was from the customer service desk. Told her about the meat department and she said sorry. That was it.

Will not go back unless they have a really good sale. They are more expensive...
