It’s a shame that the staff felt the need to follow me around from a distance of about 4 feet while I shopped with my son, because I would’ve enjoyed browsing their selection a lot more. From the moment I walked in they asked me if they could help me, and when I told him that I was only browsing because I was passing through the area, I have always wanted to check out their store, they continue to follow me around as if I was going to steal.
After checking out for over $200 worth of merchandise for my son, I realized that I had forgotten to check out the tack section because I was so distracted by being followed around. I suggested to the cashier that she could hold my bag at the front while I checked the tack section for an item that I was needing for my horse, but that did not stop her from following me at a very close distance that was obnoxious and very obvious that they were untrustworthy of me and my little boy.
I couldn’t even browse a rack of clothing without someone hovering within arm’s reach.

I decided to visit after passing the sign several times on my way to and from various competitions, but I won’t be stopping in again. I’d rather spend my money online and not be hassled...

There was a great selection of belts and I chose one that didn't scream "cowboy." There's a huge variety of cowboy hats, but I only found one or two other styles - fair enough for an establishment with "Western Shop" in its name. I was surprised by the number of stylish, non-Western button-down shirts. I'll be back for some of those! I agree with other reviews that the customer service can feel a bit... intense, but perhaps that's just country hospitality to which I'm...

I was really happy when I found out they were still opened for business so I stopped in while passing through town and it is still a great place with a friendly staff and great prices. That would explain why they are still doing business. In an age where people are buying everything on line it is a breath of fresh air and I will be going back for sure. Lots of cool stuff and they still shape hats and that is hard to find these days. Lowry's Western Shop is...
