I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with ASD, specifically with their sales representative John Benatti. What should have been a straightforward business interaction turned into one of the most frustrating customer service encounters I've had.
Mr. Benatti displayed an alarming level of rudeness and arrogance throughout our entire interaction. His condescending tone made it clear that he viewed my questions as an inconvenience rather than part of his job. When I asked for clarification about product specifications, he responded with dismissive remarks that made me feel completely devalued as a customer.
His inconsiderate behavior continued when he repeatedly interrupted me and showed absolutely no interest in understanding my lighting needs. Rather than offering helpful suggestions, he pushed specific products without considering my requirements or budget constraints.
The demeaning way he spoke to me was completely unprofessional. At one point, he even made a sarcastic comment implying I didn't know what I was talking about, which was both inappropriate and incorrect.
I cannot in good conscience recommend ASD as long as representatives like John Benatti are the face of their customer service. There are plenty of other lighting suppliers who treat their customers with respect and professionalism. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for your lighting...
