Eagle Rental Purchase — Local services in Canton

I was forced to rewrite my review!! ((DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT RENT HERE)) I had rented a couch and bed my experience with that wasn’t great but, I tried again! I rented 2 laptops- I thought my experience was bad before...WELL I was wrong!! TOTALLY wrong! After about 1/2 a year the one laptop quit working I took it in they said they had to send it out. They gave me a laptop they said was comparable yea it might have been comparable if my one I had was an acer built in the late 90’s. I told them I wanted an update never got one I told the one guy that called I wasn’t going to pay for it if I didn’t have it. I told him if he atleast got me an update I would bring payment in on Saturday. Well still no update they decided to call my (wife, mother in law, brother in law, and my mom.) 7 calls to BIL , 3 to MIL, 1 to my wife, and 5-6 to my mom. BTW never calling me not stopping by or mailing a letter!

Ok here it gets fun “Mike” decides to call my mom and tell her like I’m a kid he went as far to tell her what I owed and tried to get her to pay my bill for me! She agreed but called me I told her no at this point I was taking them back because of there dishonesty. I took them into the store today he said they have no records of calling them or doing any of that! I heard the messages. When i got my mail today I got a letter from them finally reaching out saying they tried to contact me. It was dated the 17th its the 19th now with covid going on there is no way that date was real. Please head my advice stay far away unless you want your financial information just given out.

O yes they said the hard drive was shot and not covered by warranty but the keyboard still worked and you could hear it start just no screen. So once again I believe...

Sorry to say but I had the worst experience with this store. I filled out an application got told I'll get a call tomorrow then they just show up the next day with half of what I wanted and unexpected seeing I was giving no information but "fill this out". Had no idea how much it was not to mention now I'm gonna rent two items and sure not at the price I seen. then they come after 2 hours of waiting the second time and since they had no change they wanted to reschedule. Why is it I feel as if I was getting something off Craigslist and not a professional great friendly rental place I have read and hear about. No communication, unprofessional and sure don't hold accountability for the store faults and inconvenience a customer and still after all that I'm still wasting my time on...

Roger and Jan are 2 of the worst people there!! I’m a single mom who fell on hard times and was trying to make payments and instead of trying to work with me I was met with wages being garnished after I returned everything and was told by Roger in the store that everything would be wiped clean and I could start over. They are still trying to collect over $1900 and won’t uphold the verbal agreement that was said. Jan is rude and disrespectful and always try’s to over talk you and not let you speak. I will never ever go back through Eagles again if this how I’m gonna be treated. My family are long term customers and the way I was treated was absolutely horrible. I will be making a BBB...
