This was a very nice small reenactment and scenario set in the beautiful village of Capon Bridge, West “Almost Heaven” Virginia. I went with my F&I regiment but portrayed a Native American. I opine that had the weather been a bit drier there would have been more folks out.
We just got the second one in before it poured and so if you come next year bring an umbrella and bug spray. Having chairs there is a thoughtful touch.
Thanks to the Foundation for lunch and providing the toe taping music. It’s definitely a free and close by French and Indian event & living history also in “Wild and Wonderful” West Virginia.
