Joy&Wylde in Redstone is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the warmest welcome from Joy herself — she has a way of making you feel like an old friend. This summer her lovely daughter, Chloe, is pitching in after just graduating from UCSB, and she brings such great energy to the place.

The coffee is outstanding — freshly blended at a nearby roaster, you can really taste the difference. Every cup feels like it’s made with care. They’ve also got an amazing selection of drinks beyond coffee, plus pastries that are downright addictive (don’t skip the baked goods, trust me). Catherine, the barista, is next-level — she knows her craft and it shows in every perfectly made drink.

And it’s not just about the coffee. Joy&Wylde also features an incredible art gallery and a beautifully curated boutique filled with unique gifts and clothing you won’t find anywhere else. It’s the kind of place where you come in for a latte and leave with something special in your bag and a smile on your face. The Redstone Art Gallery has been one of my favorite galleries for years since it first opened. Recently, I was apprehensive when I learned that it had a new owner. I need not have worried. The new owner, Joy, is so gracious and delightful. I found a fantastic selection of paintings, artwork, pottery, jewelry, and home goods. I absolutely love this shop. What a great place to stop and enjoy a glass of wine or one of their delicious pastries with a latte. Sit outside and enjoy the amazing scenery. The Crystal River flows behind their store and you can sit for a moment and enjoy life. Joy has a great eye for one of a kind art and marble statues. Everything is for sale!
