Behold. The entrance sign to the Guadalupe Mountains national Park! Pretty cool. Got here just before sunset on a winters day. Was driving to Carlsbad for the next 2 days. I wish my kid didn’t pass out in the car ride over here so we could have gone on a short hike.

Great spot to take a pic of the sign with the mountains in the background. If you look closely, you'll see that the sign is in the shape of the mountains directly behind it. Pretty cool!

We parked here to let the dog out for a walk after leaving Carlsbad Caverns in the 90's Out of no where, a clap of thunder let loose. I never saw a dog levitate before.
