Carroll 5 — Local services in Carroll

The theater is very outdated they only have a couple of theater rooms with New(ish) seating. Some of the other rooms the screens and sound equipment were also super out of date and low quality of sound. On a couple of occasions the movie i went to the chairs had no strength or backing to it at all (think car with no suspension). Movies are expensive here ($8) when considering you can go to Omaha and pay $10 and sit in a theater with great sound quality and recliners as seats. Not to mention the outrageous prices on concession stand food. Some theaters in Omaha (like the majestic on W Maple Rd) you can even order food and they will bring it right to your seat (for an extra charge of course). I get that theaters are on their way out and its hard to keep business, but if this theater would just even put in new more comfortable seats id be willing to go more. Doesnt seem like they are...

It is absolutely absurd that a rated R movie is 17 years of age or older but legal adult age is 18 it’s ridiculous that someone under 17 can’t have a parent call in and let them know that it’s okay that their kid is allowed to watch the movie but instead the parent has to sit next to them during the whole movie this movie theater is absolutely ridiculous.Even if we have someone who is 22 with us. There policy said parent material we had the parent call and 3 people over 18. Will never come back girl behind the counter...

My family has always been going to this theatre for my whole life seeing new movies and every time we went to see a movie they always had a display of the next movies on the front wall so we would always take a picture there. sad part is they removed them and had tv's in the front entrance can barely see them when passing by the theatre instead of having a poster on the wall where it was easier to see but I'm pretty sure that now those are the old days and now. just got to move on...
