Thurman's Vegetable Market — Local services in Carrollton

Apparently, I was on a farmer's market/produce stand kick because I visited 4 different ones before noon today. 3 out of 4, I had never visited before today. Thurman's was my last stop on the way home. I am so glad I stopped. The BEST customer service out of the 4. I was greeted and given the rundown on everything. The produce looked amazing (also tastes amazing). I was looking for Roma's for my pico de gallo, which they didn't have but the lovely owner suggested a different tomato and allowed me to sample it. It tasted so good. Another positive about Thurmans that I did not see at the markets/stands, was a recuse/reduced bin, where produce might not be the best looking but nothing wrong with it and can be purchased at a reduced price. I bought a bunch of red potatoes out of the bin.
