When we moved to Carrollton from Woodstock in 2021, my daughter Ansley was looking for a new dance home, and West Georgia Dance Center was an easy choice. She loved the website and videos she saw, and it seemed like a fun, welcoming place.
Since joining the competition team in 2023, Ansley’s dancing has truly soared. The opportunities for growth are incredible, and it’s clear that the studio pushes its dancers to reach their fullest potential. But beyond just the training, the sense of community at West Georgia Dance Center is unmatched. It feels like a big, supportive family.
Owner Nichole Cook has communication down to a science—I’m never left in the dark about what’s happening, whether it’s practice schedules, events, or important updates. It’s such a relief to know exactly what to expect, and that level of professionalism makes a huge difference.
What I really appreciate is that there’s something for everyone at the studio, even for adults! I’ve been taking an adult tap class for the past two seasons, and it’s honestly a highlight of my week. It’s so much fun, and I love that they offer adult classes alongside the kids’ programs.
Overall, I can’t recommend West Georgia Dance Center enough. It’s a place where your dancer will thrive, where families feel included, and where the love for dance shines through every class and...
Read moreWe started our journey at Fever as one of the original Fever babies!!! I say WE because it’s a family event! The time we spent at Fever was incredible and WE couldn’t thank Megan and her staff enough for helping our daughter, pushing our daughter to be her best! Everyone here was invested in making and helping my child become her best! The technique offered, the hard work, time and dedication on both sides, the countless hours of dance (all her choice!!!) and driving to and from, the shows... hands down are the BEST, most fun and memorable events ever...the staff and what she learned was by far what she carried through her life; even though she was young it stayed with her til this day!!! We moved to Texas and NEVER found this type of studio again...BUT what she learned from Megan was engraved in her head and she used it wherever she went: she learned...how to present herself, confidence; how to be a leader, how to perform, how to audition, presentation; how to do what she loved and what to strive for! She developed a passion and she will continue her dance career into college with an athletic scholarship for dance. We love Megan and what she provides for these children is an escape for them to develop a passion for something they can own themselves. One word...Fever...
Read moreWe have been a part of the Fever family for the past five years; emphasis on the word family! When you join Fever, you immediately feel the old adage “it takes a village”. From the front desk to the owner, to the instructors and the other parents- they all make the environment so welcoming and everyone is willing to lend a helping hand for the kids. In our years with Fever, our daughter has grown to love her time at the studio. Each day we go in for practice she is excited to see her friends and her teachers plus she is constantly learning something new. Fever has a little bit of everything from dance, to tumbling, acting, and more. The part of Fever we have enjoyed the most is dancing competitively. Fever offers 3 levels of competitive dance starting at age 4 through 18. In my opinion, dance is fun but competitive dance is real fun! So if you are looking for a place that feels like family, where your child will learn to love to dance with great instructors, and that has something for everybody- The Fever Performing Arts...
