While driving up to visit my mom in Chicago, everyone on the highway swerved to avoid a blown truck tire in the middle of the lane...everyone except me. By the time I tried to avoid it, the steel treads wrapped around my rear tire like a scorpion, tearing it to shreds. I tried to change the tire myself, however my British car used 18 mm lugs that was too small for a standard 4-way. I tried to call other tow services in the area, and all of them had no one available for at least 4-5 hours. (It was in the middle of the day during one of the hottest 98+ days of the year) I didn't even know where I was, just had some signs and an old abandoned gas station for reference. As heat exhaustion was setting in and I was getting more worried, I called Sullivan Auto, and the guy knew right where I was, and said he would be there in 5 minutes! I was relieved when the tow driver had metric sockets, and helped me with the spare tire. I then followed him down to their shop, and they took care of my problem, replacing the tire right away. (They even fixed some trim work that was damaged by the tire shredding) I was afraid when the final bill came thinking they had me "over a barrel". They handed me the bill and I was surprised that the tire and labor was very reasonable. I was on my way breathing a huge sigh of relief, knowing I would make it safe to my destination. I travel back and forth regularly from Memphis to Chicago, and will now make sure to stop at Sullivan's for all my mechanical needs. ...

I live an hour and a half away and on my way home from St. Louis my driver tire fell off. Sullivan’s towing got to me in 15 minutes and even drove me to the gas station nearest their shop and I made it home safely via a friend. He could immediately see the issue. I called them when they opened the next morning to see how everything looked and told me exactly what was needed and the cost of everything. Up front and no beating around the bush like I get in the big city that I live in. They had my car done before 2pm. And they are the sweetest people you’ll ever talk with. Broke down due to a blown engine. My trailer was loaded to the max. Tow truck responded quickly and had taken it back to their yard. After waiting for a truck to be brought to me. The next morning the owner generously assisted me in swapping out trucks so I can deliver the loaded trailer. The treatment I received from this business was above and beyond. I also had the chance to see the tow trucks in the yard. They are in excellent condition and they are absolutely ready to tow anything. I was able to see the 60 ton tow truck on standby.
