We had a major Christmas Day emergency with our septic system. The office contact was very helpful and said a technician would be able to be at the house within a relatively short period of time.
Brian, the technician, arrived within 2 hours. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He did everything he could to correct the problem. He pumped the system and tried to replace the filter, but the filter handle was broken and he was not able to access the filter. This will have to be addressed at a later date. He tested the system and noted that there appeared to be a blockage between the house and the septic system. Clearing this issue was not something he was set up to do. Brian said he would contact the office and let them know the problem. The office called me within 30 minutes to tell me they could have someone come out and try to clear the blockage before the end of the day.
Quincy, Drain Cleaning technician, arrived within 3 hours. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to clear the blockage, and the system is once again working. Cleaning the blockage was not a simple process. Quincy, pointed out a couple of corrective actions I might want to take to prevent a similar situation from occurring in the future.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO NOT EVER use this company! In September of last year, we hired them to pump our septic tank . They came out, charged us for digging, pumped, and left. What they did not do, which they were supposed to, was takeout and clean our filter. Instead, the technician wrote that there was no filter and that the system was not designed to have a filter. Which is very much not true. I know this because my basement flooding and backed up with sewage this week. Someone from Budge It Drains came out to help us, and he was the one who discovered that they had not cleaned the filter. In fact, they had not even dug up the section of the septic tank with the filter in it. Instead, they dug up the smaller section, pumped what was in that and called it a day! I have now had to pay two separate companies collectively over $1000 to finish the job that Wind River told us they had done. And to make it worse, now Iām waiting 24-48 hours on a call from the branch after customer service heard my entire story and said āWhat are you looking for from us?ā What I want for you is someone to care about the job that was not done.
So, under no circumstances, should anyone ever use this company. Use Baystate Sewage instead, they at least seem to know how...
