Casper College says that you are able to register and try a class, and drop it by a certain date for a full refund if you are not satisfied. I began a class, was a bit put off by the course content and had some big changes in my life that would prevent me from devoting the necessary time to the course, so I dropped the class the day before the required drop date for the full refund. I ended up having to go through a petition process and acquired late payment fees. In the end, Casper College only refunded me half of my money because I had participated in the course during the first two weeks. I still had late fees to pay.    Read moreI applied for special circumstances for FAFSA, but they were unable to give me independency status because I had contact with my parents. The guy said that no matter what, since I had contact with my parents, I would not be qualified for independent status without even hearing my reasoning. I later found out that both of my friends recieved unusual circumstances on their FAFSA even though they LIVED with their parents and were on good terms with them. I attended out of pocket, and regret it deeply. Later switched schools and was able to recieve unusual circumstances through my new school. Definitely would not recommend...
