Rent-A-Center — Local services in Casper

Don't deal with rent a center. they couldn't find a legitamit reason to turn me away for one of two reasons. I was eather discriminated against because I live in a nursing home for the disabled one block away from the center or they knew I could pay off the full price of what I wanted to get from the store and they are just interested in scamming poor people out of what little money they have for food. I personally called all my refrences and told them to call rent a center to give me a refrence and I still only had two refrences on my application. if you really need furnature do a google search for interfaith in casper Wyoming its a social service agency and you can get a voucher for free furnature they give you beds and blankets and dishes and tables and couches the whole nine yards completely free. they will also give you a clothing voucher and can help with rent and cut off knotices just take what money you have to make the first payment and go to rescued tresures which is a thrift store and get some furnature. you can get a really nice couch for $30. save for what you want to get and buy it new. its not like you would risk bedbugs and roaches anyway. I remember walking into a rent a center in Oklahoma and roaches where EVERYWHERE! save yourself the trouble of dealing with these people its not worth the hassle. i just purchased mny furniture about 4 months ago my third month in I had an accident moving my t.v and i broke it my isurance company told me to call RAC because technically its theres. I'm also in the process of moving across country and I asked the manager there or the head guy if i could return the furniture for an exchange its all in the same mint condition i purchased it in and I found out about the 6 month exchange and came to the conclusion this guy is waiting to respond to me after my 6 months so he wont have to help me. I think that's messed up because of my work I move around a lot and I deal with rent a center I pay my bills always on time and in advance and they can see my loyalty. THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO HELP ME and that is a shame when I'm paying and doing everything needed to be labeled as a VALUED CUSTOMER. They ignore my calls and I hated to post this before I actual;ly go into the store but its been 2 months almost I was waiting to hear back from this promising young man. We purchased a bedroom set from Salem OR. The service was awesome.we had an family emergency they worked with us and put on a suspended contract and told us we hade a 1000.00 dollars credit with rent a center any where in the USA and could start up another contract and use our 1000.00 dollar credit-we moved to Wyoming and proceeded to talk with them about purchasing another bedroom set from them using our 1000.00 dollars credit we had with them. They called Salem oregons store confirmed.our excellent repo status we had and the Casper storetold us to pick out any thing we wanted to purchase.The Casper rent a center store then proceded to tell us they couldn't put our already paid 1000.00 dollar credit in writing but we were getting our credit-I walked back over to the bedroom set and asked why we were paying the amount that was on the price tag-they made a bunch of gibrish about the furniture was 8000.00 it was scratched up-mirror was scratched up.they did not want to work with me!!!!very bad management & main boss did nothing to fix.Do not use rent a center we never got our...
