I as a small business owner understand that reviews can make or break us. They can be uplifting or flat out heartbreaking. This however is going to be on a positive note. I began visiting Seaglass when they were in their original location in Leland. It was a fun mix of eclectic furniture, paintings, home goods, clothing, candles, jewelry, baked goods and a little bit of everything else. I loved it. Not to mention that the owner tried diligently to have a food truck available for the patrons during the time she was open. The items were in every price range. The owners selling at the booths could tell you about everything they had, I found each and every one of them to be knowledgeable and honest. I have in fact made friends with several people from there that I value and treasure. These people pour their energy, heart and souls into what they do. They are crafters, artisans, and artists. They run small businesses and are the backbone of our country. Most of them have other work but are at Seaglass once a month because it is their passion. I applaud the owners for all of their hard work and efforts. Your place is beautiful. My hope is to be able to get over...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI first visited this market when I was checking out Wilmington and considering moving here. They were in their Leland location, a mix of indoors and outdoors, featuring an eclectic array of chic and funky home decor along with fabulous food vendors. The people were met there were all so nice and friendly, and our experience was part of what helped us make the decision to move here. Iāve visited several times over the years since and always loved seeing the wide variety of different merchants. Fast forward to this year, when I finally decided to take the leap into creating and selling my art. I decided to try my luck with Seaglass as Iād always had such a wonderful experience there. Going from a shopper to a vendor has made me feel like Iāve found a lovely family of kindred spirits. The other vendors are so kind and helpful, and the owner is amazing! Sheās so motivated to help the event be a positive and wonderful experience for both shoppers and vendors alike. I always look forward to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am one of the artists at Seaglass monthly market. I may be a tad biased, that being said Iāve done lots of other local markets, wholesale and consignment around the area and nothing is like Seaglass. The meet the artist experience makes shopping for yourself or gifts so much better. Many of the artists are able to make custom pieces that you would never have the opportunity to ask for otherwise.
There is something in every category of goods from pottery, jewelry, candles, clothing, wall art, crochet, baked goods, tea, gelato, you name it. The variety is exceptional and the quality is incredible. Some of the most creative and talented artist in our local area.
Seaglass weekend has quickly become my favorite weekend of the month. If you havenāt been, come say hi when...
