Extra Space Storage — Local services in Catoosa

I've had to deal with more storage units and storage companies than I can count throughout my life. It's always a task to find one that's affordable, in an area that is accessible to the person who's going to be needing it, Is well maintained plus feels like a safe place to have things stored. I spent a day calling around to storage places trying to figure out the best place to put my mom stuff after my stepdad passed away. Calling CubeSmart's business number sent me to a representative at what I'm assuming is their call center. after getting prices to a few places I decided on cube smart and called back to tell them I did need the unit reserved. After hanging up the phone with the representative I was sent an email and in the email there were extra charges than what I expected but it would not let me change the format. I was too busy to call back so I just waited. after about 30 minutes I received a phone call directly from the actual storage place I was going to be putting stuff and I was happy to be able to talk to someone who actually maintains the unit and knew what was needed. She told me if I come in to set everything up I can change things around and that I wasn't locked into anything the email sent. The next day I went into CubeSmart in catoosa and it was a very nice experience. Shelly and Debbie are the two most honest nice storage unit managers I've ever worked with. They are easy to talk to, answer every question clearly, have great personalities and attitudes. They even express sadness when a unit has to be locked because someone can't pay. Even though it's not in their hands to say when and if a unit has to be locked because of no payment, they at least express sorrow for the person who may lose their belongings. At the moment I'm pleased with the prices for the size of unit I am renting for my mom. Those can always change and again it wouldn't be up to Debbie and Shelly. They prefer being able to see happy people pay lower prices and for all the units to have renters instead of a bunch of empty units due to price inflammation. They want good things for all their customers and would rather stay busy being full than board being empty. They both do such a great job and are so nice that it makes it more comforting knowing my loved ones belongings have to stay stored until certain things are sorted out. My brother is losing his home and I told him to call the same place I took our mom's stuff. So he also has a unit there. If you have to store your items for whatever reason, you won't be disappointed with these two ladies handling things with you.

The storage unit was rented at the end of May and we have it paid for until the end of August.

So this past week I've been sitting up a move from Missouri to Oklahoma I'm sure if my apartment was going to be ready to move in. I decided that I needed to check out a few storage facilities just in case my place wasn't ready. I came acrossed CubeSmart and I did some investigating and read some comments and reviews and I liked what I saw so I went and checked it out for myself. Coming into the facility I noticed that they were very clean and very organized and when the young lady saw me she was like hello how are you very friendly very kind very nice face very welcoming. I asked her prices and things like that so she was very knowledgeable knew what she had available knew where she could put me from what date to what date she knew everything that I asked her if she had knowledge of that was a big plus she took me on a tour of the facility showed me what my options were and it was amazing everything was so clean and well-kept and it was amazing I had already seen a couple of storage facilities in the area and they were not as on point as I believe her name is Shelly Roark beautiful blond just saying she's very on-point. I rented a 5x5 outdoor unit for exactly one year, and in that time I knew that I was dealing with someone who went out of their way on a regular basis to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and quality customer service. Effective communication between us was a definite high point of my experience. I always felt safe on the property and didn’t have any problems with my unit.

As far as my experience with CubeSmart as a company, here is my honest take: The reason I decided to go elsewhere was mostly because my rates had increased significantly since I signed up. Twice they were raised.
