DISGUSTING! You couldn't drag me back in this place! The service was VERY good but this is your typical run-of-the-mill mexican restaurant that is hard to order food if you don't speak spanish and know what 90% of their words mean. (Like "taluca" for example.) I hate having to use Google to interpret every item on a menu before ordering. I am not a big fan of most mexican restaurants for this reason, and I detest guacamole, and other mexican staples that are often dumped on your food, whether or not you order them. I do not eat "surprises", especially if I cannot identify them.
Their queso is good but their chips are very tough and chewy. The vague menu descriptions cannot be be trusted here. You won't know what you'll get until your food arrives.
All I found on the menu that seemed anywhere normal, was fries with steak strips, bacon and cheese. I asked our server if that was everything that came on them, and he said yes. I was served a pile of beautiful looking fries, with steak and bacon topped with all kinds of garbage I could not identify. Some of it looked like chunks of seafood or some kind of reptile with a nasty-looking green stuff drizzled all over it. Not even close to the menu description. I sent it back and ordered NOTHING!
Don't waste your time or money here. There is a WONDERFUL Mexican restaurant within a half mile of this place that beats this one (and most others) by a loooooong shot! They have many great, easy-to-order entrees. I whole-heartedly recommend you go there instead. You'll be glad you did. There is NO comparison between the two. I do NOT recommend Senor Pancho's house of...
Read moreNo Kidding the food was hot and fast. Taco Bell can’t put food on the counter any faster. The restaurant was very well staffed and set up to handle the Saturday evening rush. Good salsa (hot and mild) and a small queso comes with the chips. The food’s taste average Mexican and the portions are generous. We had the Enchiladas Mexicanas and the Chiles Rellenos Dinner. The Enchiladas were the typical trio: cheese, beef and chicken, covered with various Mexican sauces, salad and grated cheese on top. My wife said she wished the enchiladas and sauce had more seasoning. The rellenos were large fresh peppers with abundant shredded chicken, battered, deep fried and covered with queso. Both meals were accompanied with the ubiquitous beans and rice. The restaurant interior is large. It shows signs of wear and aging. The men’s bathroom door was missing a door knob. Just a big hole in the door where the door knob used to be. Carefully stick you fingers in the hole and push or pull depending which way you are going. The food is fair, but not outstanding enough to...
Read moreCustomer service was poor arrest the restroom was disgustingly nasty my granddaughter wouldn't even use the bathroom because it was so dirty you couldn't close the bathroom door. The waitress that we had was awful it took forever for us to get our food we sat there for probably 45 minutes waiting on food and when I went to pay the cashier charged me way more than what my bill was and then left with my credit card and did not bother to bring it back himself instead it was my waitress that brought it back and instead of bringing me both receipts the manager voided out the old overcharge and just brought me my current receipt I had to ask for the receipt all in all it was one of the worst experiences I have had with the restaurant the only saving grace is that the food was good even though they didn't get my order right the cashier needs more help on her customer service skills and her...
