Swansea Bait, Tackle, Farmacy & Feed — Local services in Cayce

This store is under new ownership and is such a wonderful addition to the town of Swansea. They are probably one of the best Bait & Tackle shops in the state of South Carolina. Besides having all of your fishing needs, they also carry many different varieties of Dog, Horse, Cow, Cat, Chicken, and other various Feeds for all of your animals. And whats even better is that their prices beat anyone elses around. Another wonderful thing about this small-town shop is that they carry locally sourced USDA Angus Beef and Pork from Rolling Hills Ranch located in Swansea. They are also very close with the community and donates to many causes for our locals. I was very pleased at my first visit to find a good dog food with the same 21% protein and 12% fat in the same size 50 lb bag for a better price than we pay at other places. The dogs love the showtime brand and staff was Very helpful ,friendly and they are very organized for all my shopping needs. I'll definitely remember to come here for my fishing , and camping outdoor and pet supplies I'll need. Supposed to be open on Friday. It's 11:25, and we drop by to grab some bait & someone who knows the owner is washing their truck right there says 'He isn't open today sir, he works today & doesnt open shop on cold days'. It's not that cold. Google said open on Fridays from 9AM to 8PM but he isn't actually open. If you want to risk going out of your way for bait, be my guest; but his store hours are wrong. He opens not on the schedule but on his own leisure. Unreliable & last time...
