It’s great to not only have an excellent meal every time you go to valley cafe. It’s the only place in this town that cares about the product they put out and has your food out to you fast hot with a smile . If you haven’t been here your missing out. If I had one thing to ask for it would be for them to be open for breakfast. Man that was the best cat head biscuits melt in your mouth. Breakfast was hands down the best also.Thank you for blessing Swansea with such a great experience every time.

We popped in for dinner, and I ordered the special. Fried fish, stewed tomatoes over rice, black-eyed peas, and fried okra. The food was excellent, and the service was great!

Ok...Pros..the food is first rate. I had the grilled ham & cheese..Yummy!! As a fan of ham, the salty flavor mixed with the sweetness of the cheeses at a mouth watering rate...Plus, the sandwich was Packed !!! Im telling you, if I hadn’t been determined to sample their fries, the sandwich would have filled me up. But the fries were soooo good...

My guy got the hamburger (over 1/2lb.) & he couldn’t get over the taste.. As any carnivore worth the name will tell you, well done doesn’t mean burnt. His burger was juicy with a pile of extras...onions, tomatoes, lettuce ..Basically fully involved.

The cons were the place itself..The floor was unsealed concrete which is fine if its clean. My shoes stuck to the floor and made a loud sucking noise when I walked...There was dried ketchup on my table from a previous patron, making the table feel as sticky as the floor sounded..Needless to say, my OCD was in freak mode. The AC is not enough for SC heat plus bodies & ovens/fryers.

We went at dinner after they had been closed for the afternoon and there was only 1 waitress. Dont get me wrong, that girl ran herself ragged taking care of the 5 occupied tables. We always had drinks and our food was delivered hot .

Im really on the fence about this place...Will need another go...

Food was good and good portions. I live in Orangeburg and my girlfriend lives in red Bank so Swansea is good place in between. We ate in the restaurant and sat in my car and talk for a while after. It was late but One of the employees came up to the window told us that the owner of asked us to leave because they didn't want anybody loitering around there business. We are not spring chickens and we were not doing anything wrong so we were offended by this act. We will not return to this restaurant...

I like to support local restaurants as much as possible, wherever I live, travel, or in this case, work. On my first visit for lunch, I ordered a patty melt for takeout. I was not disappointed: generously sized patty, just enough grilled onion and melty cheese, all served on crispy, lightly grilled rye Texas toast. If I had dined in, I probably would have requested some A-1 or 57 sauce. The ketchup packets back at work did the trick, though. My lunch was good, and I'll be back! Thank you for a...
