Bella Sera Event Villa — Local services in Cecil Township

Bella Sera has always been my dream venue and we were luckily able to have our wedding there in the middle of this pandemic. We were due to be married in the fall of 2021 but I had contacted Lauren regarding available 2020 dates due to boredom and she happened to have my dream date/holiday available, Halloween! Needless to say we moved our wedding up an entire year and we had 2.5 months to plan everything. Bell Sera was the perfect venue to handle our special day, the level of professionalism from Lauren and Andrea, along with the rest of the staff, was truly amazing. There was not a single detail overlooked or unaccounted for by one staff member during our entire process. All of the BTS planning for linens, food, desserts, etc was effortless all because of their amazing plans that they offer year round! We were able to host our flash mob rehearsal AND ceremony rehearsal there the day before our wedding which was a huge plus! All of our decor was perfectly arranged when I arrived the next morning; Andrea greeted me at 9:30 AM with the biggest smile (through her mask) and made me feel so comfortable. Wedding day nerves weren’t even in the question because Lauren and Andrea made sure they had everything in order long before our big day. Just before the ceremony Andrea could tell I was getting anxious and rather than telling me to get over it, she comforted me with encouraging words and a, “good luck, he’s waiting for you,” as she fixed the train of my dress seconds before walking down the aisle. Throughout the night Andrea and our DJ kept all of our events on schedule and made sure we took time to eat our food and cake AND talk with each of our guests! By the end of the night we were saying our goodbyes and I turned to ask when we would be able to pick up our decor and the room was almost completely empty with our car packed with all of the items we brought. THE EFFICIENCY!! They tore everything down and replaced it in our boxes/bins the exact way we brought them in! We also received a beautiful gift basket filled with a pasta dinner for two including pasta noodles, a jar of sauce, a bottle of wine, two Bella Sera engraved wine glasses, All Clad metals measuring cups, and a gift certificate to a Bella Sera event! If you are hosting any event, do it at Bella Sera! My mom, best friends and I hosted my baby shower here in the beginning of June and it could not have been a better event! I'm the type of person that hates being the center of attention and has to have everything go smoothly according to plan or it ruins my whole day. If you are someone that worries about the same things, have your event here. You will feel so relaxed because the staff will do everything for you! Roz & Jake were amazing to work with. We made a bunch of decorations and I had so many concerns about how to make it look like the vision in my head and Roz came to the rescue. She added random decor pieces and gave suggestions and made everything look amazing. She isn't pushy at all either. She would just say 'If I may make a suggestion and you can totally turn it down....'. The atmosphere is fantastic! Upon walking in, you fill like you are in tuscany. The coffee, hot tea and assorted juices were all set up and the cups were so cute! You really felt like you were at an upscale coffee shop. The pastries and fresh fruit were amazing and were a huge hit! On the bar, there were champagne glasses with strawberry champagne punch with fresh fruit which was another huge hit! Right outside the room after the welcome reception was the most amazing food display you could ask for. The food was all delicious too. We were allowed to bring our own cake and they were more than happy to cut and serve it for you! I am still hearing tons of positive feedback about the event and everyone said it was the best baby shower they have ever attended. We will definitely be hosting more events here!

The social coordinator, Megan, was also great. She was extremely flexible and always replied to any emails with questions within hours. We started planning in January for June and we must have asked 100 questions. She was always more than happy to respond in extensive detail. She was even flexible about customizing the menu. She calls you throughout to make sure you have the exact custom layout that you want, the menu is exactly what you want and gives you any other pertinent information. The first time I ever attended an event at Bella Sera was for a friend’s bridal shower in 2023. At the end of the shower, I said to my mom “I could see myself getting married here!” Two years later, and here I am- just married at Bella Sera in early April 2025! Choosing a venue is no easy feat, but I would confidently recommend Bella Sera to any couple looking to host a beautiful wedding and reception. We had their top tier package, and top tier it was!!The food is fantastic (highly recommend the short ribs), the venue coordinators are amazing and go above and beyond to ensure an easy planning process and a perfect day, and we were able to have every single thing we wanted! This included an onsite ceremony with live musicians, a cocktail hour with a ton of hors d’oeuvres, an open bar with signature cocktails, a one hour reception extension to host an “after party” onsite, late night food, hiring a live cannoli station, an incredible cookie table room, and a “Tuscan garden” vibe with the decor. Their preferred vendor list made planning super easy and my husband and I were completely blown away when we walked into the ballroom on our wedding day! I can’t count how many people came up to us and said we did everything “right” and it was one of the best weddings they’d ever been to. I promise if you have your wedding or event here you will not be disappointed! My husband and I are excited that they host Easter brunch as well as other meals throughout the year because it is now a special place that we can return to every year to reminisce on the best day of our lives!
