I was married this past winter with my reception at the Driskill Hotel in Austin, TX. When I selected the venue I didn't think at all how I would decorate so massive a space (the mezzanine) with flowers. In fact - I wasn't even thinking about flowers. I can identify a rose and a tulip, but that's about it. When I went through meeting florists, I met one and received a quote for the wedding before my wedding planner introduced me to STEMS Floral Design.

With the first florist I was overwhelmed. Flower names, shapes, colors - they all blended together and I had NO idea what he was talking about. I knew that flowers were expensive and especially having the reception at the Driskill that I couldn't just fudge it and not do my research. I had to trust that the florist would make the space look magical, so I kept looking.

When I met with Abby at STEMS it was amazing. She walked me through flowers, shapes, colors, had her Ipad ready to look through arrangements and asked me to point out what I liked. I was incredibly comfortable with her manner and how she went through each of the arrangements, bouquets, floral decorations. What I REALLY liked is that she worked with me. If a bouquet or decoration was too expensive she would pull up pictures of flowers that were less expensive but with a similar look, so that I could manage my costs. When my bridal bouquet wasn't exactly to my liking she spent an hour with me discussing other flowers, bouquet shapes, colors - and for "game day" created something amazing. For the finishing touches at the reception she offered creativity and input, made last minute changes that resulted in a wedding reception with flowers I couldn't have dreamed up.

Prior to the wedding I was that girl who said the "flowers aren't important". After working with Abby and STEMS I'm the girl who looks at memories of the reception and think "it wouldn't have been half as special as it was if it weren't for STEMS". In fact - one of the main things that stood out in my memory was how stunning the head table arrangements were - I wanted to sit at that table and stare at them all night!

We LOVED working with Stems! Hannah and the team were an absolute pleasure to work with, and we are incredibly grateful to have hired them to provide our wedding florals! We were a little intimidated by the floral process going into it, but it ended up being easy and fun thanks to Hannah. From the moment we met with her, she was extremely excited to partner with us and was fully committed to executing our vision.

Hannah hosted us in-person at the Stems showroom where she took the time to get to know us as a couple, reviewed our vision for our wedding in detail, and asked us intentional questions to ensure that she fully understood our expectations for the big day. She subsequently turned around a Floral Package that was beautifully put together, reflected our vision PERFECTLY, and provided various options at different price points to allow us to be mindful of our budget. She was super responsive if we had questions, and she never made us feel like a bother. She even completed a mock-up of one of our dining tables for us months before our wedding, so that we could review and provide any feedback prior to the big day!

We communicated our specific design concepts to Hannah, and she executed them all to perfection! Two things that really stood out to us were the arch that we got married under and the hanging floral installation that was designed by the Stems team. These items were STUNNING and completely exceeded our expectations! We also made it clear that we wanted TONS of candles, and that is exactly what we got! The day of the wedding, the Stems team was onsite working hard (in the hot weather) to set up our wedding just the way we wanted. The flowers they provided from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the signage were beautiful, high quality, and lasted throughout the night in the Texas heat!

The Stems team is TALENTED beyond words. They are experienced, professional, detailed, flexible, and KIND. They genuinely want their clients to have the wedding of their dreams and will do anything in their power to make that happen. I truly cannot thank them enough. I would HIGHLY recommend Hannah and Stems, and I am hopeful to work with them again...

Wow wow wow! I’m not even sure if there are accurate words to describe how much I absolutely adore Abby and the whole STEMS team, but I will do my best! I first learned about STEMS when my sister in law hired Abby and her team as the florist for their wedding in May of 2017. I was so in awe at how beautiful everything was that I knew I would hire them when the day came for me to start planning my own wedding. As soon as we had a venue and date set, I started the planning process with STEMS and I could not be happier with how perfectly everything went. I had a vision of a dreamy modern tropical wedding and they really helped me narrow down exactly what I wanted. Any time I had a concern about how something would look (because I am a very visual person), Abby made sure to send me more visuals or really talk through in detail how something would look. Not only did STEMS do all of the florals for my wedding, but they also did 99% of the rentals. From cocktail tables to lounge seating, to table linens and the table settings – Abby knocked it out of the park and really made my vision come alive! I was beyond excited to arrive at my venue the day of the wedding to see how everything was looking and I was absolutely blown away. Abby and her team are the absolute best in the business. When you spend a year planning every detail of one of the most important days of your life, the day finally arrives and you just hope and pray that you conveyed exactly what you were wanting to your vendors. STEMS took my vision even further and my wedding day was even more beautiful than I had ever imagined. It was SO great to have a florist that I knew I could trust and just completely understood the look I was going for. I will never stop singing praises for STEMS and Abby.
