Mercer County Fairgrounds — Local services in Celina

First time visiting this fairgrounds. We were visiting there as Hardin County Royalty and to meet their royalty. The staff we did meet were friendly and gave directions where we needed to get to. The fair and barns were clean and easy to navigate with paved paths. Nice choice of different food trucks and saw Buckland Acres Bistro there(good food even for a sensitive tummy!) They had plenty of seating that we saw, not a lot of trees for shade seating. They did have several tents with seating setups. Talked with one of the 4-h parents in the poultry barn and she shared a lot of information while she was cleaning(her kids were taking care of their other animals). Their horse barn was very nice, they even had horse care information poster/interactive boards on care! Talked with some of the 4-h kids in there and they shared information about their projects. Then we saw the BIG rubber duck, had to take a picture of it. We didn’t get a close up though. They had drop off and pick up (golf carts) we didn’t get to use them even though we waited for one. Best RV Campground on a County Fairground Needed a place to plug in the RV for a couple of days as it was unusually hot for Fall. Found the Mercer County fairgrounds and inquired about availability and price. They had plenty of well manicured sites available for a good price. Personnel are very friendly and easy-going. My only complaint was that the sites are very poorly marked and numerically out of sequential order. It was already dark outside and, I wouldn't have found the site if not for a couple of friendly people who drove an ATV around looking for my number. Star family circus was awesome! It was a little overbooked, the bleachers were full even Arriving early. They did invite the kids to sit front row right outside the stage before starting. We took a break and there were a couple adults that sat out front and took up kids space up after halftime, weird! The Mercer County fair was awesome though and the circus was exhilarating! My kids could not keep their eyes off of the Performers👌🏻 price and all great! Can’t wait to see more circuses in...
