Torch Cannabis Co. — Local services in Central Lake Township

This place is the biggest rip off. They charge 2 - 3X more than any other dispensary. The owner - Kelly - does not honor her word. She overcharged (by $90) me when she offered a BOGO and then said the offer wasn't valid - even though she called me on the phone to make this offer. I was so stunned I didn't realize her offer of $50 off my purchase was $90 less than she original Then she failed to comply with Michigan State law and did not place an identification label on either purchase I made - and then when I went back in the owner hand wrote the name of one type of cannabis on the package - not the required label from the state for safety and compliance. Who know what else she is up to? She has lost all my trust - Because she is the only store within miles between Petoskey and TC she rips off her customers - and now I am an ex customer and will only take my business to those places that comply with the law and honor their promotions. And despite spending over $1000 at her store the owner has this response. Not apologizing, just blame the customer. If you point out what happens to you she blames her competitors, customers, employees. Guess the customer is ALWAY WRONG. Could she be any more judgmental? She called me to tell me the product would be there Saturday. I told her I could come back instead she offered to make them while I waited. And still this is how she treats a customer. Stellar place, run by top notch people, giving you the best quality in products and the small town care and kindness you just don't get at any dispensary. I will typically stop in at any dispensary that fits my schedule and find something that will do. But, if you want personable care, information on what would work best for you and why and a variety of strains and multiple products to fit your preference this is the only dispensary i can honestly recommend. I've been helped by nearly every employee and have always had the best experience. Recently, I have been dealing with high pain levels and off the charts anxiety. My last two visits I got the pleasure of meeting Kelly. I have never had care from any pharmacy, doctor, hospital or dispensary for my medicinal needs that Kelly provided to me. She listened to my issues I was looking to medicate and was able to help me find something that treated both my pain and anxiety better than ever before while also allowing me to continue through my day. She even helped me find what I needed in a more affordable range my second visit. From her edibles and tinctures to the flower and concentrates there is something here for everyone. I visited Torch Cannabis Co. in Central Lake today for the first time and I was not disappointed! I was greeted by Mary and I must say, she is super sweet and knowledgeable. She filled me in and answered all of my questions. I love that the shop features its homemade products in-store. I did not get to meet the owner/creator, but Mary filled me in on the different products, and some of the processes and went through the list to help me find what I was looking for. There is something for everyone at his place. It is a smaller scale establishment than what I am used to in 'the city', but the small, hometown feel was all the more genuine and I was treated as a friend; not a stranger or just a paying customer. It was personal and I felt like I'd been coming in and out for some time. That says a lot considering I am from quite a long drive away and found this place on a Google search in an unfamiliar town.
