This afternoon we had the opportunity in attending one of their soft openings for the main floor restaurant. I say main floor, because they will be offering/opening up 2 additional restaurants, one for fine dining (2nd floor) and also the rooftop restaurant - all within the same fabulous castle resort style venue that they have so fantastically created for our town of Centralia. It is refreshing to be here, the service is out of this world, and you feel very well taken care of. ALL of the staff is so very accommodating and gracious with their services. The food is excellent. We had both the grilled oysters as well as the half-shell oysters, steaks, baked macaroni, baked potatoes, and wine. Everything was deliciously perfect. This place is definitely needed to be visited when in our area. You will not be disappointed. We learned a lot throughout a guided tour about all the luxuries they are offering. From rooftop dining, a venue for musical guests and artists, kayaking courses, future amphitheater; to the events on their veranda and their grounds - they do/will have it all. We learned about cottages and a hotel - as well as about the sport academy that they have. This is such a great place 5+ stars. We can't wait to return!

I figured i would give castle ridge restaurant stonewater another chance. I didn't have good food experiences in the past but it been a year so I figured let's try. Waitress was super professional and friendly but the atomplshere was off. A few tables no crowd at all. I was hoping the food would come through. One thing I enjoyed in the past was their spinach and articoke dip. Unfortunately I didn't taste nor see the artichoke and it was runny and the top was burnt. When I asked they said that's the way we do it. Also the shrimp scampi was highly recommended but they need to to rename it to shrimp scampi olive oil soup. All you could taste was the olive oil and it was 2 inches thick at the bottom. So, unfortunately there's a reason why the restaurant doesn't have a bigger crowd. The food isn't up to the view.

If you haven't been to Castle Ridge you need to. It is amazing and the food and drinks are top notch. An actual large castle on a lake with beautiful grounds that surround the castle for a wonderful view and grand experience. If your child is in to baseball they also have a sports unit separate from the castle for training and actual pro players from time to time. If you want to impress your date the castle will make them feel most special. The castle has plenty of room for events, family gatherings and what a wonderful setting for her dream wedding. You really must check it out you'll be glad you did.

First off, I would like to say that I only post reviews if service was outstanding or below satisfactory. Last Friday we had the rehearsal outside and it was 95 degrees and very humid. We weren't offered any water and the venue was locked so we couldn't go in and cool off. It wasn't until we practically begged that they finally unlocked the doors to the wedding venue so we could get some relief.

The next day was the wedding (Saturday). We had a whole new group of wedding coordinators. Apparently, the coordinator from Friday didn't take notes for the new coordinators on Saturday because they had no clue what was going on! The coordinators kept interrupting the bride as she was getting ready and asking her questions. ALL QUESTIONS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED BEFORE THE DAY OF THE WEDDING!!!

They changed the order in which we were to go down the isle from Friday. I am the step-mother of the groom and the coordinator told me I needed to wear a booteneer. I thought it was odd but this was my first time being a step mother in a wedding. About 10 minutes later, the same coordinator calls me over and tells me that she has to take it off me because it belongs to the mother of the groom then proceeds to tell me they "assumed" I was the mother because I was "all blinged out." How embarrassing for all parties involved!! Never assume anything!!!

Before the wedding started, the staff locked all the doors to the venue so if anyone needed to go out to a vehicle etc. they would have to walk around the venue to get in. The same area we walked out of to proceed to the isle those doors were still unlocked luckily, but once some of our wedding party used those doors the staff locked those, too because the staff didn't want anyone coming in through those doors!

A male co worker came up to me and had asked me if the cake was going to be cut for guests or the bride and groom wanted to save it for the year anniversary. I told him he needed to ask the bride and groom!! He told me he thought I was the mother of the groom so that's why he asked me. First off, I am just the step-mother of the groom and it isn't my wedding to make those decisions.

Bottom line-the coordinators had no clue who anyone was. They were incredibly unorganized and most were rude. Their lack of organization stressed out the bride and groom, as well as the entire wedding party. All questions concerning the wedding should have been answered BEFORE the day of the event and the staff should know who is who in the wedding party as far as main family is concerned. This was our first time here and I can honestly say I wouldn't recommend Castleridge to anyone for a wedding!!! Future brides, beware!!

PS. The bride and groom AT THE VERY LEAST deserve a sincere apology for the terrible service...

Where to begin! Castle ridge was the first venue we toured and I knew I didn’t want to visit any other place, we fell in love instantly! Maggie was with us from the first day to our wedding day and she made my Pinterest wedding come to life!!!! Everything was so perfect. So many people told us we had the best wedding they’ve ever been too. The food is fantastic. The service is unbeatable. For what you get the price is very reasonable!! We also were able to book our wedding on a Saturday within 9 months which was amazing too. They were always available throughout the entire process to answer any questions. You have several meetings with them to ensure you have your dream wedding. The bridal suite is stunning. The in house stylist made our ceremony and reception areas look so beautiful, just like our inspiration pictures but better. At the wedding the staff makes sure you, your husband, and both sets of parents are well taken care of. They truly make you feel so special. I cannot say enough great things. Literally zero complaints. Our wedding was the best day of...
