Ernie's is great--well worth the drive to Ceresco. I live in Omaha and needed a new queen bedset and mattress. I shopped at Nebraska Furniture Mart, and it was so busy and really hard for me to decide. When I went to Ernie's, the manager, Dean, introduced himself right away. He asked what I was looking for and was very helpful. He wanted to be sure that I got good quality while staying in my budget. He offered me a lined pillow and told me to take my time on the beds. When I found one I liked, I mentioned that NFM offered free shipping that weekend and after "consulting with an associate" (not sure why a manager needs permission, I think it was a play) he said he would do free shipping and set up. He even took $10 off of my mattress pad. He found me a great bedroom set too, a queen sleigh bed for $270. Tyler helped me at checkout and was also so helpful.

My total was $945 after taxes for a firm queen bed, boxspring, sleigh bed, slats, taxes and delivery/installation.

Definitely recommend Ernie's and will definitely go back. This small town business is GREAT--you get better prices than online or NFM, you get a personalized experience and help, and you get amazing customer service. I called to ask a question about their exchange policy and the girl on the phone was so great and stressed that they just want their customers to be happy. I know that if I ever have any problems whatsoever, their customer service will be stellar.

📣PSA: We highly suggest you do your research when buying new furniture. Unfortunately we were too excited to find the perfect piece at Ernie's in Cersco, that we did not. We purchased this Amish dining set in April 2022. 1 month later it was covered in scratches and dents from daily use. Thankfully, Ernie's allowed us to exchange the set if we paid to upgrade to a harder wood. So we did, this table was supposed to "last a lifetime" in their words. Fast forward to December 15, 2022 when we received our new set. It is already showing signs of wear and has surface scratches and heat rings, from dinner plates. And they are accusing us of misusing and "customer abuse". The fact that they agree the table looks horrible proves our point. Anyone who knows me, knows how clean I keep our home and take care of our things. We're infuriated, sad and feel very taken advantage of, especially after paying the price that we did. Just hoping we can save someone else from making the same mistake of shopping at Ernie's in Cersco. They have definitely lost us...
