Our local Atwoods in Chandler Oklahoma is doing things right. I called frantically last night at 7:42pm. They close at 8. We live 30 minutes away. I had a goat that was dying and they had medicine I needed immediately. My husband was on his way. I called to see if I could pay for it over the phone and have them leave it under a bucket or something outside for him to grab when he got there. I was beyond desperate. The man I spoke to on the phone said they couldn’t take payment over the phone but to let him talk to his manager real quick....when he came back on he said “we’re going to stay open for you!” I cried. Things were going downhill fast with my sweet goat and what they did just meant the world to me. It was a tiny breath of fresh air in the midst of not only an emergency but a chaotic week, too. There are still kind people in this world and I so appreciate you!! We weren’t able to save my goat but the kindness shown by the manager and employees at that Atwoods store won’t ever be forgotten.
Thanks...

Read moreGreat place if you want to waste time and gas. I called for ducklings, was told there were five in the bin. I told them I was over an hour away but I would be heading there immediately to pick them up. They told me they would hold the ducklings for me and put a sold sign on them. Lo and behold, an hour plus drive later, they had sold all but one injured runner left behind. When I complained, they mentioned giving me a $30 gift card but then refused I suppose because I wasn't grateful enough that not a single person apologized for their mistake. They didn't make me pay for duck, a whopping $6, and refused to do anything but stand there and look annoyed. Communication is pathetic and the managers don't care- especially the one who outright laughed and walked away when I told him...
