It was friday night, we're from out of town, and Route 66 Bowl was hopping. Though it was busy, and they didn't allow us to call in and reserve two lanes for our party of 12, we were set up and bowling within minutes. The staff was friendly, patient, and helpful. The facility was remarkably clean. Everyone from the young kids to granny was impressed with the historic Route 66 gas station theme that begins to transport you back to a simpler time from the moment you pull into the parking lot. "Wow!" This place is special. It's apparent that it's cherished and run well by someone who has a dream to provide a lively, fun, safe, clean, affordable and memorable experience for their patrons. Well done! Our party had a blast. Every thing was is in full working order. Inputting names and setting up a game of bowling was easy to do; and the bumpers for the kids extended & retracted automatically. We ordered a couple pitchers (of soda) and pizzas which exceeded my expectations. The pizzas were really good and I don't say this next compliment in a derogatory way nor do I imply that the pizzas are frozen but they reminded me of an elevated Tostino's Party Pizza--far better quality of course. It's just a really good melding of saucy cheesy deliciousness on a tasty thin flaky crust.
After a long game (10 bowers) it was getting late and everyone was tired from an even longer day; otherwise we would have tried mini golf and/or lazer tag. The listed prices that I observed for those activities were very reasonable. So as we were leaving we looked in on the restaurant which is near the entrance and smelled the tempting aroma of a grill at work. Ahh...next time. Hopefully real soon...

Ordered pizzas and pitchers of sodas from the cafe area, would have liked it if the server had checked back in with us to take empty trays or offer soda refills, however I do understand why they couldn't. That is a big area for them to cover and touch base on especially while attending to customers inside of the cafe. She was super pleasant and helpful and nice when taking my order and delivering it to the lanes, and I did still tip her 20%. The pizza is nothing too great but it's not awful, it pleased the kids which was the goal. Staff was eager, helpful and delighted to help with any leftovers we had as well. Very knowledgeable with equipment. The one very irritating thing was when the kids wanted to play Lazer tag, we preloaded their play cards with enough for everyone to participate, those cards do not work for the Lazer tag and that's not mentioned on the machine, or at least if it is I didn't notice it. So if you're interested in Lazer tag, pay in cash at the bowling counter. Kids had an absolute blast in the Lazer tag area!! We will definitely be back especially now we know how...
