A great place to treasure hunt! Absolutely love what the new management has done with the store's design. I stopped going for a while due to the past management being unfriendly and at times, rude. I just popped in over the weekend, and Rachel greeted me with a friendly, welcoming hello. Have never utilized their social services, as I am not in that that area. Just wanted; however, to write about my recent experience with a visit to their wonderful thrift store, whose profits are utilized for the center, so here goes. I found this shop purely by accident while traveling the back roads of South County. I just love this place, and always welcome the chance to visit whenever I'm in the area. My husband and I stopped by the store this week and don't get me wrong we love the store, the lovely manager and the volunteers. We always leave with many bargains. I was very upset to witness the Director disciplining the Manager in the open and not in private. I was embarrassed for her. It's a great way to lose customers. The Director needs to take a management class and polish up on her people skills. I don't know who put her in that position but she needs a different career.
