Dollar General — Local services in Charlotte

Edit: I gave a bad review because of the unfriendly people who worked there. I came back to change it. The same people aren't at this store anymore. There's friendly people there now. There are dollar general stores around every corner so we don't have to go to the ones that have employees who act like they don't want to help you find something or barely speak when you're checking out. They made me feel unwelcome. I'm glad they have a new group there now. I no longer have to drive to the one in White Bluff. I miss those people though. This store was particularly organized for a Dollar General. As the corporation, I feel Like, will happily disregard customer service duties for an opportunity to put up some stock. On the other hand sometimes you'll have a single good customer service person running the register with no one else in sight along with merchandise on the floor and in buggies in the aisles. I’ve had several unpleasant experiences at this store over the years that made me quit going. On two occasions their credit card reader was down—which I didn’t find out about until all my items had been rung up. On one occasion, after waiting a very long time in line, as I got up to the register the shift supervisor closed the line I was in to send the clerk on break and told me to go to the end of the other (very long) line.
